POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Surprise announce!! We have our final free rockyabones of 2026 ! Kicking off at 7 this Friday Oct 2nd we’ve managed to align to Aus tours from two unique and energetic bands both on the road from their perspective homelands, @_smallways._ & @unitband_ to end our year here at bar Yuki with a bang. With such an epic year here at bar Yuki we’ve seen such an eclectic bunch of independent artist and this final show reflects that perfect. To all the bands that have reached out to come play our sleepy town and all the punters they have come supported and shared stories, laughs and made memories that may last a lifetime. We are grateful to have shared it all with you. Poster art @tombeauu

Tonight! UNIT from 8pm. FREE! The new-ish project of guitarist Asher Bates (00_, Dr Sure’s), UNIT are an off-kilter, experimental swamp rock band from Naarm.

Their sound, like some melding of Polvo and The Drones, features intricate and distinctive guitar work paired with emotive vocals and rich lyricism. Having only played their first show in March, the band have since shared bills with the likes of Party Dozen, Georgia Knight, Romy Vager and Dartz (NZ).

A superstitious bunch, UNIT are hitting the road for a lucky seven shows run to celebrate their first single release ‘Rachel’ — released on Bandcamp on Sept 24.

UNIT play Tanswells on September 25, joined by Life Girl.

WAXMAN have awoken from our slumber to announce a very special show we’re very grateful to be apart of

A huge number of fantastic bands are joining forces at the Tote to raise funds for Sisters Inside, a First Nations founded charity based organisation campaigning for human rights for women in prison and their families, and to add further support we’re releasing a palimpsest demo version of ‘Shape of Waste’ exclusively to Bandcamp for Bandcamp Friday (late as we often are) and will contribute the earnings to Sisters Inside over the next few months of sales. The link is in our bio.

This release is our way of saying thanks for being patient with us while we took some much needed time off and we’re looking forward to showcasing some new material for you all. We’ll be playing the front bar at 6:30pm. Special thanks to @max_ducker and @jure_grando for putting this all together you guys are legends xx
