There are two shows I want to talk to you about. The first is this Friday 9/25 at @thejunglecmc, a place where several good things have happened to me. Next is a gig on Saturday 9/26 with a band called @ratghostrocks. I don’t know who that is or what they are or what is happening, unless you think it’s a good thing in which case it was my idea and I am glad to be part of it. I won’t see you there. Have fun.

Detailed breakdown below: Having in-depth vocabulary is important, but so is knowing how to use it. Here's an example of how to use just a couple ideas in a way that sounds natural and gets people excited. Ideas (sticking) used: Six Stroke: RllrrL Hand/Foot Singles: RFRFRF Layered Variation: RFBFRF BFRFBF The LH hi-hat is introduced "every other" to make an upbeat 8th note triplet Notice it feels good in part because I'm making modifications and extrapolating ideas as the phrase goes on and it morphs into the next idea. This way it feels less blocky and like less pressure than coming up with a new idea every phrase. Experiment with your own ideas (or steal mine) and have fun! #drumsolo #drumlessons #musicianship #bostonmusic #drums

RUBYFEST 2026 Talk about a powerhouse of a festival. Rubyfest had it all, and I mean everything. This post is highlighting a few of the many awesome musicians who graced the stage, but this is just a little slice of the talent from this weekend. Much, much more to follow in the coming days🔥 Also, please tag yourself and your homies!! I met a bunch of awesome folks but I am terrible with keeping who is who straight on social media when I first meet people. So, if you can help me out, that'd be sweet (:

We promised THREE NEW SONGS so here’s a shot from one of them! @steveallenguitar wrote this song. It’s called Nest Egg and it goes from chill and dreamy to a symphony of rhythmic bliss and melodic shred 😁 Hope you all like it, it was a tough one to make gig ready but we promised so we DELIVERED! Shoutout to @sally_obriens_bar_and_grill for hosting us and shoutout to @universalunionmusic for splitting the bill! Come see us play it at any of the shows in our bio! Also keep an eye out for some BIG news about our first EP recorded at @raresignals #mathrock #funkrock #music #boston #somervillema
