When good men gather together the whole world feels it.

Brotherhood is some of the deepest medicine I’ve experienced.

When we collaborate, instead of compete, everyone wins.

When we learn to be in right relationship with women and the world, everyone wins.

My brother @dayanimaidas and I are gathering a group of men to retreat and initiate together in the Sacred Valley of Peru to unlearn and remember what it means to show up as an integrated, masculine man.

Through hiking, ceremony, ritual and an immersion into the Andean culture, we will come together to get clear on how we can be Men of God, walking the path of leadership in a good way.

We all suffer with feeling lonely, disconnected and overwhelmed….it’s not you, it’s our culture.

We were not built to do life alone. Whatever you’re carrying right now, the weight of it gets lighter when you’re surrounded by people who get it. Every food choice is a conversation with your body. And every dollar you spend is a vote.

A choice to invest in yourself, to expand what you are made out of. A choice to move towards your potential, and feel connected to something beyond yourself. A choice to give your body more energy rather than costing it more energy to process the food that’s at this point, hardly even “food”.

It’s a vote for the kind of farms you want to support, the quality of soil you want food grown in. A vote for less chemicals, more nourishment, better ingredients, and a food system that actually respects life.

This doesn’t mean you have to be obsessive. It doesn’t mean everything has to be organic 100% of the time. But it does mean your choices matter more than you’ve been told.

Conventional food may look the same on the outside, but quality matters. How it was grown matters. What it was sprayed with matters. The health of the soil matters. The health of the farmer matters. The health of the planet matters.

You don’t need to change everything overnight..

But at some point, we have to stop asking why our bodies feel so depleted while continuing to feed them food that was never designed to truly nourish us.

Here are some things you can do right now that can make a big difference..

- Shop on the outer edges of the grocery store. Get organic when you can.
- Go to your local farmers market.
- Buy grass-fed/finished meats.
