The Little Garage Gym That Could! 💪

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Who thinks I could’ve hit that 140 squat clean?

Watch me build-up to a heavy squat clean. (Heavy for me & my postpartum health journey). 💪🏼

OG audio so you can hear that weightlifter hiss. lol. Peep my little foot shimmy on that second to last attempt. Somethings just stay with you, no matter how long it’s been. 🤣

You see me @poweredbytheminifridge? 👀🙂

Last 3: 130lbs, 135lbs, & a failed attempt at 140lbs.

Putting this on the timeline because look at my babies running around while mama works out. 🥹 Bubbles everywhere, running back & forth, dancing, feeling the kettlebell, climbing the box, & lots of happy squeals! 🩵🩵

Glad I got to end the weekend with a nice little sweat. Dues p🤑id!

& can’t forget the weather!! Loving this weather!!

Since becoming a dad it’s been a long time since I had a lifting session in the home gym. Felt good to get under a heavy bar and it was also nice to have my boys watch me, well at least until the bar slamming scared them 😆. Fun times 😃

Find a Heavy Power Clean + Push Press

I stayed somewhat conservative and only went up to 235lbs

Final workout of CrossFit Open. Definitely a lot harder than I thought it would be plus didn’t help I came out way too hot and hit a wall in the 2nd part of the first window 😅. Anyways back to my newborn twin boys. Thanks for judging @cfmarinrivas2016 #crossfit #crossfitopen #open2023 #fitness #justtrainhq #crossfitopen2023 #newdadlife

Looks like I’m still riding that high from lifting with the homies.

Been M.I.A. However, we back on that grind. It's been awhile since I have done any heavy lifting. Definitely not best looking, but all things considered I'll take a personal best match Power Clean & Jerk at 255lbs #weightlifting #crossfit #training #workout #bodybuilding #garagegym #homegym

Find a Heavy 2 Rep Backsquat in 5 sets

385 for a double. Been a couple months since I squatted this heavy. 5lbs under my best double.

Bench work today. 255 is my best bench since my chest and shoulder injuries about to 2 years ago. Still remember when benching 135 would be so painful. One day I'll get back to my old beat bench of 270. Shout out to my spotter/wife @unapologeticallyaubrey. She had to adjust her lift-off.

Traditional cardio, Oly lifting, & barbell cycling are all different forms of cardio & ya girl remembered that real quick 😅. Gotta start implementing more weights in my training.
•
Always a good time working out with my stud muffin (🫐 is his preference 😍). We finished in 43:57. Primarily due to me using the 200m run as a walk to catch my breath cuz I was a struggle bus 🥲.

Happy Saturday, y’all. Let’s keep movin’ and groovin’! 💃🏻

Lifting session with the Mrs.
Complex: 1 power clean + 1 push jerk every :30 for 10 min.
Ended at 255. Had 265, but just couldn’t bring my elbows up on the clean, plus it’s a deload week.

Snatchies — lots of snatchies.
•
Workout called for 5 rounds of 5 snatches after some strict handstand push-ups, but before some cals on an assault bike. Whew. 🥵
