POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

2 years old. Fetching water.

I met him at a borehole in Kagobe, Kiboga District. He couldn't even reach the handle properly — but he knew he had to try.

In his eyes, I didn't see a child. I saw strength. I saw responsibility that came too early. I saw the reality for millions of children in Uganda where water is not a tap away, it's a daily journey.

Clean water should be a right, not a privilege. No child should have to fight for a drop.

This is why I share these stories. Not for pity, but for action.

If this image moved you, please share, save, and speak about it. Water is life.

Let’s make sure the next generation fetches dreams, not water.

Slow Mornings, Long Roads - Bonga

Fog on the hills, light breaking through the trees, and people walking their own roads.
No rush, no filter on the feeling. Just the world waking up the way it does best.

“A classroom full of raised hands, laughter, and possibility.”

In this moment, the children are not simply answering a question they are claiming space, expressing curiosity, and reminding us that every child carries a voice worth hearing. Their laughter cuts through the ordinary rhythm of school life, revealing a generation growing with hope despite the challenges surrounding them.

For a photojournalist, this is more than a picture of children in uniform. It is a frame of childhood, confidence, community, and the promise of tomorrow. Each raised hand represents a story, a dream, and a possibility waiting to be nurtured.

Sometimes, the most powerful image of hope is a child raising their hand and saying, “I have something to say.”
