starting a petition for Brittle Wings to be the next James Bond theme. who do I speak to? 🍸 🔫

Performing this song with the @melbournesymphonyorchestra for the very first time was something else entirely. I’d always imagined it sounding this huge and cinematic, but actually hearing it come to life with a full orchestra behind me was such an overwhelming feeling. One of those moments I wish I could relive over and over again. 🥲

Big love @timfromthehouse @alexandraveltri and @lach_bostock for bringing this song into the world with me, and to @alexturley and @upsidedownhead_ for taking it to an entirely new dimension.

It can feel at times that to pursue a career in music is slightly futile with the world where its at, but, i truly hope more than anything that by pouring so much of my heart into this- my music can bring even just one person some joy, release, comfort, a sense of being seen, and that i can create a world for you to enter and escape into ❣️

𝑴𝑶𝑫𝑬𝑹𝑵 fucking 𝑹𝑰𝑻𝑼𝑨𝑳𝑺 ‼️

Still trying to process this last week ❤️ needed to sleep for a couple days.

Taking Modern Rituals out into the world and finally getting to sing these songs with you has been more special than I know how to put into words.

This album has lived with me for such a long time, and suddenly it’s not just mine anymore. Hearing you sing these songs back to me, meeting so many of you, seeing you with the vinyl in your hands and watching this little world we created come alive on stage… I’ll carry these memories with me forever.

And then to find out Modern Rituals debuted at #3 on the ARIA Australian Albums Chart, #3 on the Vinyl Albums Chart and #12 on the overall Albums Chart. I’m honestly so overwhelmed and grateful.

To my team, and every creative, producer, writer, musician and crew member who helped bring this record and show to life, thank you for believing in this world and pouring so much of yourselves into it with me. None of this happens without you.

And thank you to every single person who came to a show, singing or VIP, bought the record, streamed it, shared it, sang with me, and found a little piece of themselves in these songs. You’re the reason I get to keep doing this.

And to my family and friends who have been beside me through all of it, thank you for being so patient and supportive of me. I love you endlessly ❤️

What a way to begin this chapter.
