I am frozen over my first ever sub-5 mile yesterday, leaning across the line in 4:59.50! ❄️

First, I give all glory to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Without steadfast faith, I am bare.

This has been one of the most joyful weeks in my entire life! On Tuesday, I achieved a 4.0+ rating in both doubles and singles pickleball; and Thursday (yesterday), I achieved a lifetime mile PR and my first ever attempt under the five-minute mark. FOURS EVERYWHERE!

A few words of encouragement: everyone has a different starting line; you determine where the finish line is! With any sport, some discover in their childhood, and others in their adulthood; however, you control how far you want to go, regardless of age. I burnt myself out of running in 2022, and did not passionately rediscover the sport until mid-to-late 2025. You are never too far gone. Your finish line does not have to be fixed. Keep pushing the pace, and resetting boundaries.

A special thank you to BOA Running for the ‘Frosted Lavender’ race kit, and to Rooted Creative, Race Street Athletics and Pluto SMO for capturing one of the best days of my life. Huge shoutout to Michael Millay, for encouraging me the entirety of the final 400 meters, helping me close in 1:12.37; the fastest of my four laps around the track!

Lastly, congratulations to Alex Morris ( @alex.mxrris1 ) on winning the Q3 Mile Time Trial giveaway! Alex provided a winning guess of 4:59.43, just seven-hundredths of a second off my actual time. 🎉

Job 42:10

“And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.”

Quarter 2, 2026 was one of the biggest blessings in my entire life!

Last quarter, I ran my first ever full marathon, met lots of new and amazing friends, and most importantly, had SO much fun. Adversity struck in the form of a strained right calf five weeks prior to the marathon, but I have since made a mostly healthy recovery. My two words for 2026 are focus and truth. While I have made ample progress on each of them, it has not been in the way I expected. The common denominator driving my progress towards these words: FUN (who could have guessed?).

These goals and destinations we all strive for, require lots of dedication and discipline; but what are they without fun and joy? That is for you to answer! I am blessed to have a platform to create and drive relationships and opportunities, and am stoked for Q3, 2026.

John 15:11

“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.”
