USC teachers for real understood the assignment. 🧡 About a week ago, our teachers and their kids took on one final activity before the school year started by bringing a food that starts with the first letter of their name! This trend has been all over social media for a while, so we had to give it a try. Safe to say, we had so much fun filming everyone’s entries and eating all the yummy food our Urban School teachers prepared. USC teachers always deserve some joy and whimsy 🥹🧡 We had so much fun that this might just become a monthly tradition!! 👀 So, now that the school year has officially kicked off, spot your USC teacher in the video and tell us who understood the assignment best… the teacher or maybe their children? ;) See U around! :) #trend #urbanschoolforchildren #teachers #preschoolteachers

Almost a month ago, I had the privilege of introducing “Super Maya” to the @urbanschoolph family 😊. Some of the things we heard (and read, thanks to Live Transcribe 😆): “I say funny things.” (when asked how they make others feel better) “If you don’t make mistakes, you don’t learn.” “Computer.” (On what Teacher @benianchetaveloso likes to play) “So you have the dog, you have the cape, you have the ribbon…wait, that doesn’t even make sense.” (while trying to guess why I wrote the story) 😆🤣 Every read-aloud is unpredictable and fun, and you never really know what the kids will say! Thanks again for having me USC! 🫶🏻💕😍🤩 📸: @michellesingian @portiabarranda and @benianchetaveloso #hardofhearingawareness #DiversityAndInclusion #supermayaph #supermaya #readaloudbooks
