A little celebration of a place we call our second home. 🧡

Last September, we celebrated USC’s 7th Foundation Day! The children made special gifts and cards for the school, sharing their creativity and love in their own little ways.

Seven years of learning, growing, and building a community together. Here’s to many more happy memories! ✨ taken in Urban School for Children by @urbanschoolph

A little milestone for USC. 🌟

Our first Family Seminar outside of school, held at @acceler8_ph Rockwell, brought together families, educators, and different school experiences for a morning of stories, questions, and meaningful conversations.

Thank you to our panelists and to all the families who spent their Saturday morning with us. We’re so glad you were part of this first one.🧡 taken in Acceler8 by UnionSPACE by @urbanschoolph

A few questions about our school chickens became an opportunity for inquiry. 🌟

Our 4s asked Mang Eugene questions, listened to his stories, made observations, and gently interacted with a chicken. We practiced communication, turn-taking, observation, and expressing ideas along the way.

And, of course, we ended with our best rooster calls! 🐓 taken in Urban School for Children by @urbanschoolph

What makes a school the right fit for your child?

As children move from preschool to kindergarten and beyond, families encounter different paths in education.

Join us for The School Journey: A Conversation About Traditional and Progressive Education as we explore different approaches to learning and hear real stories from USC families who have chosen traditional schools, progressive schools, and homeschooling.

Our conversation will be led by Teacher Beni Ancheta-Veloso, USC Program Director, together with a panel of USC parents sharing their experiences of the journey beyond preschool.

The magic of week one is found in the little moments. 🌟

With smaller groups, shorter schedules, and plenty of time to settle in, children are given a gentle start to the school year. As they build new friendships and grow comfortable in their new environment, they begin to feel safe, confident, and ready to explore. 🧡 taken in Urban School for Children by @urbanschoolph
