#tiff2026 !!! 💌
When Aiswarya reached out to us for her @tiff_net appearance, we were thrilled to be a part of this significant moment for Indian cinema. Watching HALF make its way to #TIFF2026 felt incredibly special, a reminder of the kind of magic that happens when a compelling story finds its way onto a global stage.

Congratulations on this incredible milestone, @_aiswaryaa_a 🥹♥️🧿 We couldn’t be prouder to see you carry this moment, and your story, all the way to Toronto.

Coming to the styling : We wanted to explore ‘method dressing’ through a more understated lens. With Aiswarya playing a vampire in HALF, we drew from the film’s darker, enigmatic world, translating its mood into fashion through sculptural silhouettes, rich textures and tonal depth — keeping the references subtle, while letting the look speak for itself.

Thank you, Aiswarya, for entrusting us with our vision. Translating a character’s universe into fashion is always a privilege, but to do so for a milestone as meaningful as this makes it all the more special.

Here’s to this moment, to HALF, to new stories finding new audiences, and to many more milestones we get to celebrate together. 🖤🧿

THE MOODBOARD : The Blood Bite

#tiff2026 Red Carpet footage : @southsidetapess

A deliberately undone low bun by @hairbyprem, paired with a decadent blood-red lip by @makeupby_habiba_, brought the final layer of intrigue to the look. The eyes were kept minimal yet arresting, softly defining her gaze without overpowering the lip🩸🦇

@deepak_das_photography instinctively understood the visual language we wanted to create, no lengthy discussions, no over-explaining. We all just knew. Raw, atmospheric, unmistakably on-theme, yet with that undeniable red-carpet sheen. ✨

The moment we saw the @shriyakhannaofficial gown, we knew this was the dress!
The intricate lace, liquid black sequins and sculpted collar came together to strike the perfect balance between vampiric allure and red-carpet glamour.

It started with a simple idea: can stripes and polka dots work together? Turns out, its the tension that makes it work.

A lot of testing, a lot of adjustments, and finally, everything came together, real fun was finding fabrics that float, silhouettes that move, and details that survive underwater.

One of our favourite parts of styling is taking a brief and turning it into a character.

For the @miniindia_official event, the theme we decided was Whimsical Mad Hatter Tea Party, and working with @sarahjanedias made the process even more fun. She’s someone who loves diving deep into the references and making sure every little detail feels true to the story.

We instantly knew the turquoise dress from @papadontpreachbyshubhika was the one. But the hero of the look had to be our custom butter yellow Mad Hatter hat with the oversized bow, it just tied the whole concept together.

From the pastel shimmer makeup and soft crimped hair to the custom earrings and the coolest gingham nails by @clawcupid (a tiny nod to a tea table), every detail had a reason to be there.

That’s what I love about styling it’s never just about the outfit, it’s about making the whole story feel complete. ✨

Every look has one piece that sets the tone. For this one, it was the hat. 🎩
The Mad Hatter hat was actually Sarah’s idea. She wanted it to be bold, whimsical, and impossible to miss. Watching that idea evolve from references to the final custom piece was one of my favourite parts of styling this look.
@sarahjanedias 💛

Some looks don’t need convincing. This @papadontpreachbyshubhika dress instantly felt like it belonged in our Mad Hatter story.

👠💎

It’s the details that make a character believable. The custom gingham nails by @clawcupid were inspired by a tea party tablecloth a tiny styling cue that completed the story without saying a word. 💅

The makeup had to feel like it belonged in Wonderland playful, dreamy, and a little magical. 🌼
Beautifully done by @aashna_shah 🤌🏼

𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐁𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆 (3/3)

An ode to womanhood through exposure, transformation, and emergence.

Chapter III — EMERGENCE

She returns transformed.

The braids no longer serve as restraint, but as structure, framing and protecting the body while becoming part of the garment itself.
Hair, once a symbol of inheritance and then ritual, now becomes armor. She emerges carrying every version of herself: the softness of her beginnings, the complexity of her transformation, and the strength of her becoming.

Womanhood is not a destination it is an endless act of evolution.

𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐁𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆 (2/3)

An ode to womanhood through exposure, transformation, and emergence.

Chapter II — TRANSFORMATION

Then comes the cocoon.

As the body enters a state of change, the hair transforms with it. Once left free, it is gathered and braided an act of preservation, ritual, and preparation. Wrapped within sculptural folds, she retreats inward, embracing the beauty of the in-between. Like a cocoon before emergence, this chapter celebrates the unseen labor of growth and the quiet power found in transformation.

Not yet arrived, but no longer who she once was.
