Styling The ‘Trench’ : a silhouette that has transcended shifting eras and fleeting trends, became a study in timeless relevance, where heritage craftsmanship meets contemporary motion.

#tiff2026 | For the press conference, we explored Method Dressing through droplets of blood, the strongest link to @_aiswaryaa_a character in #HALF.
A deep crimson look from @modocaldo and @mozaati jewellery, finished with droplet-like beadwork and corsetry, brought in subtle hints of the movie’s world but with a touch of glam 🩸♥️

When Aiswarya reached out to us for her @tiff_net appearance, we were thrilled to be a part of this significant moment for Indian cinema. Watching HALF make its way to #TIFF2026 felt incredibly special, a reminder of the kind of magic that happens when a compelling story finds its way onto a global stage.

Congratulations on this incredible milestone, @_aiswaryaa_a 🥹♥️🧿 We couldn’t be prouder to see you carry this moment, and your story, all the way to Toronto.

Coming to the styling : We wanted to explore ‘method dressing’ through a more understated lens. With Aiswarya playing a vampire in HALF, we drew from the film’s darker, enigmatic world, translating its mood into fashion through sculptural silhouettes, rich textures and tonal depth — keeping the references subtle, while letting the look speak for itself.

Thank you, Aiswarya, for entrusting us with our vision. Translating a character’s universe into fashion is always a privilege, but to do so for a milestone as meaningful as this makes it all the more special.

Here’s to this moment, to HALF, to new stories finding new audiences, and to many more milestones we get to celebrate together. 🖤🧿

A deliberately undone low bun by @hairbyprem, paired with a decadent blood-red lip by @makeupby_habiba_, brought the final layer of intrigue to the look. The eyes were kept minimal yet arresting, softly defining her gaze without overpowering the lip🩸🦇

@deepak_das_photography instinctively understood the visual language we wanted to create, no lengthy discussions, no over-explaining. We all just knew. Raw, atmospheric, unmistakably on-theme, yet with that undeniable red-carpet sheen. ✨
