✨Indigenous Peoples’ Day 2026✨

This year marked the 10th Anniversary of Indigenous Peoples’ Day Philly. Held annually at Shackamaxon (aka, Penn Treaty) Park in Lenapehoking (Philadelphia), Indigenous Peoples from near and far come together to celebrate their heritage and honor their traditions.

It’s a beautiful day of community, culture, storytelling, and the sharing of invaluable Indigenous knowledge.

It’s always a refreshing, meaningful, and empowering time.

Much gratitude and respect to the original keepers of our land! May we follow their longstanding commitment to building a future rooted in justice, community, and joy. ✊🏽🤎✊🏽

Whatcha reading these days? 📚📖 📕

👉🏽 Swipe for inspo. And share some of your fave books below.👇🏽

Yesterday was National Read a Book Day. Today is National Buy a Book Day. Tomorrow is International Literacy Day. And September is National Literacy Month.

It’s always a good time to get lit.

So… Buy a book. Borrow a book. Read a book.

Read banned books.

Read the fine print.

Read magazines. And instruction manuals.

Read poetry. And prose.

Read to yourself. Read out loud.

Read to your kids. Have your kids read to you.

Read everything you can. While you can.

Reading is foundational to literacy. And literacy is fundamental to freedom. ✊🏽✊🏿✊🏼

It was a beautiful day in the brotherly yesterday with @fujifilmx_us and Bobbi Lane @uniquephoto Philly…

Always an incredible time when you get to connect with fellow photographers both young and seasoned.

I had to bring my favorite camera out to make memories. Nice meeting everyone! So grateful!

E-V-E had everybody hype during last week’s performance @dellmusiccenter! Brought all the heat, gave us a DMX tribute, had the tambourines shakin’, and reinforced the fact that she’s still THAT GIRL. What a time! 🔥🔥🔥💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

The legendary Bell Biv DeVoe (BBD) did their thang headlining the 51st Annual Odunde Festival! As founding members of New Edition who then branched-off on their own, they’ve been keeping us on our feet for over 40 years. They never disappoint! And never miss a beat! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
