Nationals Recap 🤗

This was essentially a solo trip that involved me and my go-getter self driving my therapy equipment up the California coast to work with athletes in between their races, meet with some friends and colleagues, make new connections within the track community, and ultimately enjoy my first long weekend in Track Town.

I stepped away from my normal LA routine, spent some time out in nature, visited friends along the way, and had a successful work trip representing Bonsai 🌱

I won’t be headed to Tokyo, but I am available (in LA or virtual) if you’re an athlete looking for a joint mobility session or looking to tap deeper into recovery as you head to worlds!

High elevation hiking over the past few weeks. So happy to get back into the mountains, even when a respiratory infection had me gasping for air (even more than the elevation normally would). Some highlights of my time in Bolivia and Peru were visiting Salar de Uyuni, hiking to Laguna 69, climbing Pico Austria and exploring the beautifully situated city of La Paz. Already planning on more hikes in this part of the world!

Finally made it to Cali on my third trip to Colombia and was immediately enamored with the city. The colorful and meaningful street art, steep streets with mountains in the distance and music coming from homes and shops on every corner. And most of all the salsa! It’s impossible not to get caught up in the infectious energy of the culture of salsa dancing with lessons at schools and clubs and Friday nights dancing in the Calle de Sabor

A love letter to Mexico City. I could have happily spent the entire weekend eating al pastor tacos and quesadillas and walking around the leafy Roma Norte streets. But CDMX brought a fun-filled weekend with a piñata and flower market, over-the-top lucha libre matches and colorful (and chaotic) Xochimilco trajineras with floating food and drink stands and roaming mariachis
