🪖 Everyone join me in welcoming the newest member of the Coon Rapids Marines family!

🦅 Ethan Sargent has been found fully qualified to enlist in the Marine Corps Delayed Entry Program! Sargent is taking the first steps toward a challenge that will push him beyond his limits, test his determination, and demand the very best of him as he prepares for the physical and mental rigors of Marine Corps recruit training in San Diego, California! 🇺🇸

🌎 Poolee Sargent has enlisted into the Marine Corps Active component and will be shipping off to @mcrdsd this fall! Upon earning the title of United States Marine and completing his MOS school, he will goto the Fleet Marine Force and do big things!

🦄 AFTER 30 YEARS, THE UNICORN TAKES HIS FINAL BOW.

🪖 From a Private (1996) to a Chief Warrant Officer 5 (2026). Three decades of service. A lifetime of gratitude.

📍 On October 10, 2026, overlooking the magnificent United States Capitol, I orchestrated my own unique Marine Corps Retirement Ceremony on The Observatory Rooftop in Washington, D.C.

I extend my deepest appreciation to Lieutenant General Andrew Niebel, Deputy Commandant for Installations and Logistics at Headquarters Marine Corps, for the distinct honor of serving as my Retiring Officer.

To my family, friends, fellow Marines, and distinguished guests, thank you for surrounding me with love, encouragement, and unwavering support. You made this celebration truly an unforgettable memory.

Following the ceremony, I hosted a black-tie, Bridgerton-themed Unicorn Retirement Gala, thoughtfully curated as an extraordinary evening of elegance, music, and dancing fit for the ton. The celebration took place against a spectacular, breathtaking view in honor of 30 years of service to our Nation.

While I wish I could have celebrated with everyone in my life, this gathering could only accommodate a limited number of guests. My thankfulness, however, extends far beyond those in attendance.

This chapter comes to a close… but the Unicorn's story is far from over.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Dr. Jason M. Pierce
Chief Warrant Officer 5, USMC "Retired Sort Of"
Semper Fidelis. Always Faithful.

📸 More photographs to follow! Guests in attendance will receive a private access code to view and download the professional photo collection. Special thanks to Kadeem Walker for beautifully capturing this unforgettable occasion.
