little wedding day tip 🤍 if you can, have all your details gathered into one box or spot for your photographer prior to your wedding day!

I personally love grabbing detail shots the night before when possible so I can actually take my time with them instead of rushing through it on the wedding day.

and a little appreciation for @byadrianabrennan for rocking through this wedding day with me and doing such an amazing job at her first wedding! 🥹

The moment vs. the shot 🤍

This vision lived in my heart for over a year, and seeing it come to life is something I’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone who trusted my vision and helped bring it together.

@_lexiburg , you brought this concept so much beauty, grace, patience, and life. I couldn’t have imagined anyone more perfect for it.

@la_marieebeauty , thank you for your artistry in creating Lexi’s hair and makeup.

@roseslenscaptures , thank you for your creativity, thoughtful perspective, and willingness to jump into the chaos with me. Your ideas and support helped shape and elevate this vision in ways I’m incredibly grateful for.

And @dongators , my husband, best friend, business partner, and constant support—thank you will never be enough. You helped shape this concept for over a year, scouted the perfect location, invested in the wings, managed the logistics, and protected my creative vision every step of the way. When I couldn’t find the hope or confidence in myself, you held onto it for me. I truly couldn’t do this without you.

Every person who contributed made this possible, and every role mattered. Thank you for believing in and trusting me. 🤍

how would you describe our photography styles? 👀

had such a blast helping bring @usmcbarbie x @byadrianabrennan’s vision to life with @la_marieebeauty and the insanely talented @_lexiburg, who quite literally slayed every pose we threw at her 😂

also major appreciation for the husbands/boyfriends behind the scenes who were fully willing participants in bringing their girls’ visions to life. carrying things, moving things, watching the tide… removing window screens when necessary 😂 the real MVPs!

adrie and I definitely burned the midnight oil editing a few of these last night and I already can’t wait to get into the rest today!

There are events you photograph, and then there are events you get to experience.

PAWmicon was one of those.

Everywhere we turned, there was another smile, another incredible costume, another reminder that our pets really are family. It wasn’t just about cosplay. It was about a community coming together to celebrate the animals that make our lives a little brighter.

We’re incredibly grateful to @hwac and Helen Woodward Animal Center for trusting By ABP as an official event photographer. Being invited to document a day filled with so much creativity, laughter, and heart was an honor we won’t soon forget.

Here’s a little glimpse of what made PAWmicon so special. We hope these moments bring a smile to your face the way they did to ours. 🐾

I don’t usually stop to think about where I am in life.

I’m usually too busy planning the next shoot, editing the next gallery, or dreaming about what’s next.

But today made me pause.

These photographs aren’t really about us.

They’re about remembering this chapter.

The chapter where two people with a shared dream decided to build something together.

I have no idea where this story will take us.

But I already know these will be photographs I’ll treasure for the rest of my life. 🫶🏼♥️📸

Some stories start long before the ceremony.

The quiet moments. The anticipation. The finishing touches. The conversations that happen while everything is coming together.

Jilian, owner and Head Hair & Makeup Artist of La Mariée Beauty, spent the morning creating Dani’s bridal look before her Sunset Cliffs elopement, and I had the opportunity to document the process from start to finish. Every detail, every laugh, every moment before she walked out the door.

These behind-the-scenes moments deserve to be remembered just as much as the ceremony itself.

This session only documented the hair and makeup experience—but it’s also a glimpse into something we’re excited to offer together.

Sometimes the loudest moments happen in complete silence.

The sun sets. The water moves. The world slows down for just a second.

Those are the moments worth remembering.
