Over the weekend 6 of our kids competed in tournaments across New England. I’m proud of all of them for getting out there and putting their games to the test! I want to highlight 12 year old Jeremy Rochelin, who with partner Chengtong Dong, were the runner ups at the L4 doubles tourney at the MAC. Also 14 year old Roan Bennett who played up in his first 16’s tournament and won 2 out of 3 matches. Keep grinding boys 💪🏾 #abf #abrightfuture #bostontennis #newenglandtennis #blacktennis

I had a really great time playing in the @usta @ustanewengland Level 5 Open - MAC NTRP (ROUND ROBIN) Mens 3.5 & 4.0 Singles & Women 3.5 Singles (ELECTRONIC LINE CHALLENGE) @macfitnessclubs. I got a W. I should have played better in the other 2 matches. I feel I am getting better with my game.

TOC Sectionals 2026 Recap!

This past weekend, BU Club Tennis headed to TOC Sectionals with both our A and B teams for a weekend full of competitive matches, close finishes, and freezing temperatures!

BU A: Started the weekend undefeated (3-0), with wins over UMass Lowell (25-7), Fairfield (30-4), and WPI (30-4), securing a spot in the Gold Bracket! Day 2 brought some tough competition, and with close losses to Brown (26-21) and UMass Amherst (25-19), in an unfortunate repeat of last year, we narrowly missed qualifying for Nationals, but finished 8th in Gold after an incredible weekend of tennis! So proud of the team’s effort, energy, and determination throughout every match!

BU B: Battled through some tough competition on Day 1, including a 25-23 overtime loss to UVM and a 30-9 loss to Brown. After a hard-fought match against URI (28-18) on Day 2, BU B bounced back with a 29-18 win over Quinnipiac to win the consolation bracket and secure 5th place in the Bronze Bracket!

Despite the cold weather, we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend with this team! So proud of everyone for competing hard, supporting each other, and making the most of Sectionals. Congrats to all the teams we played, and thank you @ustanewengland for hosting! Until next year!

I may be the Top Banana in tennis style,
but my tennis is still a work in progress.

I compete often. I have been good-ish.
The USTA algorithm remains unresponsive.

Some people know how to work the system.
Apparently, I just know how to dress for it.

Still auditioning for that rating bump.
Hey USTA, please love me back.

The Art of Disruption. An evening that moved us. Across generations, we gathered to honor Judy Dixon, whose courage and refusal to accept the status quo helped widen the path for generations of women through Title IX. We listened and we learned. We left inspired to carry her legacy forward. Inspiration is only the beginning. Action creates lasting change. The Art of Disruptiom was one evening. It’s impact is just the beginning. Relive the magic of an unforgettable evening. #Networthy #titleix #TheArtofDisruption
