Ever Arriving is a visual story about the journey — and now, it arrives at a new destination: winner of the @ippyawards Silver Medal for Best Coffee Table Book.

A journey rarely goes as planned, and this book was no different. Beginning with a study abroad, Ever Arriving was inspired by the life and work of Robert Louis Stevenson… but along the way, it became something else entirely.

Featuring student artwork, essays, and poetry that’s been shaped not just by a place, but by what it means to leave, to arrive, and to be changed by the journey in-between.

From the mist of the Scottish Highlands to the warmth of Samoan shores, this book morphed into a meditation on travel, transformation, and the unexpected beauty found along the way.

This is not just a book. It’s a conversation between image and word, between artist and place, between where we begin and where we end up.

Bookshelf #3! A dagger and a skull? I think my black, white and red shelf may be my favorite on this one. Also my fourth wing shelf has some seriously cool books. This is the first shelf that resides in my designated reading room.

I’m honored to have an entire chapter dedicated to my work in Contemporary Heritage Lexicon, published by Springer. A heartfelt thank you to Alfonso Ippolito for writing so thoughtfully about my art and its reflections on identity and nature. Immense gratitude to Cristiana Bartolomei and the editorial team for this recognition.

Grateful 💚

This project was brought to life by many talented people. The leading professor talked to me about my art. Not many people have done that. The result was a wonder.

Featuring My ocean inspired jewelry made in Samoa while on study abroad creating art and designs. This trip was absolutely life changing and I miss the beautiful islands daily. Travel often and travel far is my favorite lesson of my late twenties.
