Meet Lillian Groblewski, a @uww_comdis junior who is bridging the gap between theory and practice at Purdy Elementary in Fort Atkinson. Through a unique partnership with Flourishing Next Steps, Lillian and her fellow “bigs” are gaining hours of hands-on experience each semester, long before graduation!

Whether it’s mastering intervention strategies or building professional confidence, our students are proving that the best way to learn how to change lives is to start doing it now. 💜

Wearing red. Leading with heart ❤️

@uww_comdis faculty and students showed up in red and pink to support Women’s Heart Health Awareness Month.

Women’s heart health deserves attention, advocacy, and action and in a field rooted in compassion and care, leading with heart is part of who we are.

The next article we would like to feature is "Procedure to Evaluate Artificial Intelligence (AI) Output for Educational and Clinical Tasks," by Gilbertson and colleagues. When asked to describe their study in three words, Gilbertson stated, "educational AI integration." To delve into the world of AI in the educational and clinical realms, check out their study at the link in our bio!

The end of a school semester is joyful for the experiences gained yet sad for them ending. That happened with this special group of graduate students from @uww_comdis who have been splitting their Tuesday mornings between our Assisted Living and Hearthstone. Throughout the semester, they have been doing clinical trainings in 1:1 and group settings with the residents and doing so under the supervision of Heather Bernhardt; M.S., CCC-SLP
Associate Clinical Professor @uwwhitewater Thank you for making a difference in our lives of the residents and we hope we had an impact upon yours. 💜
