An incredible day of learning ✨

We were incredibly fortunate to welcome Natalia Bashkatova to our studios following YGP Sydney for a very special day of training and coaching.

There was so much to take away from the experience — thoughtful corrections, incredible knowledge and another wonderful opportunity for our dancers to continue learning following such a big week at YGP Sydney.

Thank you, Natalia, for so generously sharing your knowledge and experience with our dancers. We are incredibly grateful for the time you spent working with them and for the invaluable coaching they received.

And a special thank you to Youth America Grand Prix for making this opportunity possible. The opportunities provided to young dancers through coaching, training, performance and scholarships are always greatly appreciated.

A very special way to finish an extraordinary week of learning. 🤍

Beyond the Competition Stage 🌎🩰

One of the things that makes @yagp so special is that the experience doesn’t end when the competition does.

Through YAGP, young dancers are exposed to an incredibly wide world of dance. They meet teachers they may have first seen on a YAGP stage, learn from judges and artists from many different dance backgrounds, and experience different teaching styles and perspectives.

Over the years, YAGP has connected young dancers with teachers and opportunities from so many schools, organizations, and Summer Intensive Programs — including Colorado Ballet Academy, Southland Ballet Academy, Houston Ballet, Oklahoma City Ballet,YGP Dance Lab, YGP Italy, YGP China, Vaganova International Program(VIP) and many, many more.

Each experience can bring something different: a new correction, a different approach to training, a teacher who inspires them, friendships with dancers from different places, or simply a better understanding of how big the dance world really is. 🌎

And sometimes, the most meaningful growth happens beyond the competition stage — inside the studio, through a correction, a conversation, a new friendship, or an experience that opens a young dancer’s eyes to something they had never seen before.

Competition may bring them together, but education, connection, exposure, and a shared love for dance are what keep this community growing. ❤️

The photos in this post are a few moments I captured during @vaganovainternationalprogram VIP, where I’ve had the opportunity to see these connections continue through my lens. 📸🩰

One year, so many memories, and so much to be grateful for @yagp 🩵

My first year with YAGP gave me so much more than I ever expected — new stages, new experiences, inspiring teachers, wonderful friends, and most importantly, the confidence to keep going.

And a very special thank you to Ms Larissa, Mr Gennadi, Ms Natalia @natalia_bashkatova
,Mr. Alexei @alexeimoskalenko Ms Racheal @racheallnye and every YAGP teacher who has taught, guided, corrected, encouraged, and believed in me along the way. My @morningstardance teachers Mr Chen, Mr Nurzhan, Ms Sherry and Ms Wynne who teach and guide me everyday.
I wouldn’t be the dancer I am today without each of you❤️

I know I still have so much to learn and so much to improve, but I’m grateful for every correction, every opportunity, and every person who has believed in me along the way.

Thank you, @yagp for being such a special part of my journey.
Here’s to another year of learning, growing, dreaming, and simply loving to dance. 🩰✨

With a grateful heart,
Olivia Wang

To say this summer was kinda life-changing would be a serious understatement. 🩰✨

From my first time in Vegas for @vaganovainternationalprogram, a photoshoot @nikolayorlando, to making memories and laughing with my @orlandometropolitan friends, to the moment I got fitted for my very first pair of pointe shoes… this summer has given me memories I know I’ll carry forever. 🥹🩷

This is a year that will be forever ingrained in my brain, my heart, and my ballet soul. 🩰✨ I’ve grown, learned, dreamed bigger, and taken steps I once only imagined.

And honestly… I’m just getting started. 🎀

“Dreams don’t happen overnight—they happen one beautiful step at a time.” 🩷

What’s one moment from this year you’ll never forget?
