( reflection on a little life, again) #part4 🀍 ‼️SPOILER WARNINGS ( in the dump and caption) IF YOU HAVE NOT READ IT‼️ It’s been almost a year since I last had the courage to pick up this book and read it. I’ve never been the same since then. All I’ve done is touch and flip through these pages, never mustering the courage to re-read it. Lately, I’ve been thinking about Jude and Willem a lot. The fondness and profound agony I share with themβ€”I can’t pen it down. I love them with everything I would ever have inside of me. I wish to talk about them the most, yet I lack words. I somehow sense I would forever be at a loss for words. There are moments in your life when you stumble upon something so breathtaking that you never wish to describe it out of mere respect for not being able to do justice to it. Yet, they would always stay with me, and I would carry them everywhere throughout the time I am alive. This whole book covers their dynamic so well that I am left speechless and confused about where to start. I think about them every moment I see the sky, the stars, the sunset, the moonlight. The last couple that altered me so much was Connell and Marianne, and now it’s them. I think there is no comparison between all of them yet. Till I can pen down my thoughts on them and curate a whole post I have been trying for a year, here is a little photo dump for you all to reminisce over and cry. I love you, Jude. I miss you. - mjπŸ’™

And in that case, there would not exist the greatest novel of all time.

πŸŽžοΈπŸ‚ Reflection on A Little Life πŸŽžοΈπŸ‚ #part2 of my observation and thoughts with some annotations I was able to fit (ft desi bed sheet and nailsπŸ’βœ¨) I'm feeling emotionally shattered and utterly lonely as if I'm grasping for every word in the dictionary to describe it. The sense of being lost and overwhelmed that I associate with Murakami's books is mirrored in this one but more powerfully indeed. The emotions and thoughts within this book resonate deeply, plunging me into an inevitable melancholy. It's an entirely new experience for me, one that leaves me speechless. This book leaves me feeling numb and empty in a way no other has before. These words aptly capture the ongoing sensation throughout the book. One aspect I've rarely seen discussed is the feeling of dissociation. While reading, I'm often in turmoil, struggling to separate my thoughts from the book's world consistently sauntering between reel and real. Beyond the book's content, the bond I've developed with the characters is profound. I feel intimately connected to their group dynamic, and I can't forgive JB for his actions on the other hand, their friendship's portrayal is uniquely cohesive, and I'm fascinated by how it endured and changed over time while we became a part of it. I will furthermore like to shine a light on Jude's brilliance and wisdom, often overlooked. His articulate expression of thoughts is mesmerizing. His conversations with Harold and Julia reveal profound insights that have reshaped my perspective. The fourth part delves into the axiom concept, leading to a profound introspective moment, where I found myself in a contemplative void. This book is transformative, altering my perception of myself, humanity, and the world. William's impact throughout the years has resonated deeply, particularly in his connection with Jude. I sense that any future development involving William could devastate me and I am not prepared for the future outcomes, yet looking forward to how this story would mould over time. William's helplessness and desire to assist in Jude's life add a compelling dynamic that I'm eager to explore further. Signing off with these thoughts for now. -mj❀️

What would normal people come under, poet, king, or soldier??πŸ₯€ This was asked by my dear friend, @makhfikirehaish on a fine evening, while I was dwelling upon the amount of work I have left to finish, and the question not only took me by surprise but helped me take my mind off things for a while. I feel like normal people is a little bit off everything, you get the character's glimpse in all of them ( poet, king, and soldier) but surprisingly never complete because that is how the characters hold their places. πŸƒ Poets, perhaps, in the view of how their life was full of triumphs they could not express, so they bled through their eyes with sincerity and eagerness to hold onto something or anything and make it less painful and more bearable. How their eyes gave off the reflection of sadness, and emptiness but also the urge to understand it, to question the calmness in the air as much as chaos. πŸƒ Soldier cause of fight with everything but themselves the most. The urge to not be afraid of the darkness of your inner demons. Throughout the book, the biggest highlight was how at the end, it was their choices they had to stand for, their thoughts they had to not let go of, and living with themselves when it is completely and totally silent around them and gradually learning to be okay with it. πŸƒ King is the most interesting one, if you look at it, they were the slaves of their inner thoughts but never concurred over it. However, I perceive it more through the eye of them not giving up when nothing was left to win over when no one was supporting them. They pushed through it, and when nothing could be trusted, they still tried to show as if they were jack of all trades, and nothing could be stolen from them, just like a king, as much as they must be feeling inside, nothing bothers them through their faces. It is just what I thought about them; this post is my way of taking a take over the ongoing trend. I think about Connell and Marianne, an unhealthy amount of time a day to be questioned on why I thought this deeply, maybe that is just the way I spend my time, thinking about their existence in a parallel universe.❀️
