📍 THE QUIET SITE CAMPSITE , ULLSWATER 🏕️

We stayed here for one night & what a delight it was. Hands down one of the best campsites in terms of services and luxury. The showers were private shower rooms with toilets and sinks. There is an onsite ‘quiet bite’ which serves Wood fire pizza in the evening and breakfast & coffee in the morning. An onsite pub with a roaring open fire 🔥& live music every weekend. A campers kitchen equipped with everything you’d need to cook up a storm. Laundry rooms, meeting rooms, a dog walking field and a whole array of accommodation options including camping pitches, camping pods, glamping cabins, camping burrows (hobbit holes), gingerbread houses and finally holiday cottages. They are also carbon neutral and waste free.. what more could you want 🙌🏽 @thequietsite

The sounds of a perfect weekend away 🍁🍂🪵

Our stay at @anotherplacehotels was nothing short of incredible. Nestled on the shores of Ullswater, the peaceful views and cosy Shepherd’s hut made for the ultimate escape.

Whether it’s running the trails or simply taking in the stunning lakeside scenery, the Ullswater Way has it all.

Here’s what made @anotherplacehotels unforgettable:

• 🏞️ Ideal location for trail running & hiking on the Ullswater Way
• 💆‍♂️ Relaxing spa sessions after a day of exploring
• 🏊‍♀️ Open water swimming, paddle boarding & kayaking
• 🍽️ Four amazing dining options: a cozy pub, a lakeside restaurant, a pizzeria in a greenhouse, and a casual bar!

A massive thank you to @anotherplacehotels for such an amazing gift, and to @landrover for providing the perfect car to navigate the stormy weather in style 🚙🌧️AD

Was bedeutet unser Van für uns?

Had a little overnighter at @oliversmountracing for the Barry Sheene event. Loads of different types of bike including some modern and some vintage motorbike and sidecar, and got to see some racing up close and personal!

The campsite was decent and there were plenty of food options and stalls to peruse. Bit of live music on the evening and the bar.

The course itself is set in parkland and there are some amazing views over Scarborough. Bring some stout walking boots as there’s some real hills and woodland walks all around the course.

Highly recommend it even if you’re not into bikes or racing!

Lovely chatting to the newcomer @arranhandsracing !
