📍 THE QUIET SITE CAMPSITE , ULLSWATER 🏕️

We stayed here for one night & what a delight it was. Hands down one of the best campsites in terms of services and luxury. The showers were private shower rooms with toilets and sinks. There is an onsite ‘quiet bite’ which serves Wood fire pizza in the evening and breakfast & coffee in the morning. An onsite pub with a roaring open fire 🔥& live music every weekend. A campers kitchen equipped with everything you’d need to cook up a storm. Laundry rooms, meeting rooms, a dog walking field and a whole array of accommodation options including camping pitches, camping pods, glamping cabins, camping burrows (hobbit holes), gingerbread houses and finally holiday cottages. They are also carbon neutral and waste free.. what more could you want 🙌🏽 @thequietsite by @van__ventures

📍 SCOTLAND

Where else other than our favourite place to enjoy a cheeky trip in the van with the family.
The weather was not kind to us but in true British style we braved it knowing the cosiest of pubs were waiting for us afterwards.
The weather meant our plan to visit the Isle of Mull turned into an adventure through Glencoe, stopping at Inveraray on the way. Some good trails, food, a pint, live music & some cracking company is all you need. Even in the rain this place is still incredible 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 taken in Glencoe, Scottish Highlands by @van__ventures

The beauty of having a van means you can do spontaneous weekends to our favourite place- The Lake District.

We started the day at @chestersbytheriver before a 6 mile loop from Skelwith Bridge, enjoying a drink on the square in Elterwater.
We then found a park up on @park4night near Ambleside right next to the river.

📍 HAWES, YORKSHIRE DALES

Last night we parked in Yockenthwaite next to the river & it was one of the most peaceful nights we’ve had in the van.. not a soul in sight, we’re so lucky to have this on our doorstep. We then took a drive into Hawes where we parked up for a stunning 32km circular run. 🏕️ ⛰️

Last minute trips are always a good idea…. the best things in life are free 🫶🏻 by @van__ventures
