POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This looked like such a fun trend so I thought why not? Let's give it a go!

I should stress that picking just 5 of my faves of anything is a near impossible task, but I tried my best for you guys 🤣 it's also not gone unnoticed that I seem to love unexpected romance, with a happy ending...Anyone else? 👀

Choosing just 5 insta besties hurt a little, because (as many of you who've been here a while know) i'm terrible at sticking to the rules when it comes to choosing just a few of you absolute legends.

Please consider giving these amazing individuals a follow, you won't regret it:

@lauratypedthis - Incredible indie author, super mum and expert in fun posts that always make me smile!

@hannahs_nextchapter - A woman with the patience of several saints. My editor and all-round cheerleader.

@fueldbywords - A kindred spirit (because fellow Aries, duh!), a talented writer and soon to be author who's currently building a dream library.

@vanessadoesntwrite - This wonderful human and fellow writer like the lovelies above, has been here since day one, and has been a huge support 🥺

@her.literary.adventures - I had the honour of meeting this lovely fellow writer earlier this year. She's the sweetest human with some awesome ideas and fun reels.

If you'd like to know what some of my other favourite things are, don't be shy. Let me know in the comments. 👇🏻

How similar are our faves? Are there any on here that you love?

(Meet me in 5/ bookstagram trend / favourite movies / favourite books / favourite drinks / favourite songs / favourite Instagram friends)

Really enjoyed A Special Evening with @nadiyabychkova & @cutlerjm last night. Oddly, we’ve now seen Strictly pros dancing live to Maniac from Flashdance, although only @realjoanneclifton got drenched in the process.

@livinglondonhistory walk III complete. The stretcher railings and cannon bollard were personal favourites; historical recycling in action. Walk IV will be undertaken in May or June, hopefully. Thanks to @vanessadoesntwrite for the book, the company and the Venezuelan arepas. 🇻🇪

My Disney Princess @vanessadoesntwrite 🖤

Conclusive proof that Vanessa looks so much like Mirabel from Encanto that @memydraws was able to capture her likeness without ever seeing a photo of her. Thanks for the incredible commission, Emily.

More THANK YOU's, this time for our amazing gang of spoken word contributors on 'Their Lines of Communication, Severed'.

The concept behind the LINES samples was to create a set of number stations; passing a secret code around the song.
We think we've created the first ever number stations for the majority of these languages!

First off, a huge thank you to Ritzy Bryan from @thejoyofficialmusic for contributing Welsh; as fans of their music for a long time, we're aware of her passion for the Welsh language and celebrating it, so we hope this little addition adds in small part to that goal.

Thank you to Nina Radel for providing German spoken word on LINES. The first of a host of friends of the band who stepped up to provide exactly what was needed.

Thank you to Petra Nemeckova for providing Czech spoken word samples; we're fairly certain this is another world first number station language.

Thank you to Vanessa Deroo for providing French spoken word on Lines; one of the more striking and punctuating samples - and one I always hear when performing it live, as one of my reference points whilst playing.

Thank you to the multi-lingual expertise of Georgia Sko for providing both Greek & Korean spoken word samples for LINES. A unique combo and some of the most fun samples to sequence on the song.

Thank you to Anat Fintzi for providing Hebrew spoken word samples on LINES. Another world first Number Station, and another unique sample that we definitely couldn't have achieved otherwise.

Thank you to Valerio Azghar from the amazing @ilgiardinodeglispecchi for providing Italian spoken word samples for LINES. We knew from the moment we met Valerio he'd be perfect for the part, he did not disappoint. Thank you!

Thank you Danny Franken for providing Dutch spoken word samples for LINES. Danny's performance is so strong it leads out the sample section. Dank je!

Thank you to Shinako Wakatsuki for providing Japanese spoken word - which adds a distinct extra layer to the song. Thanks to @mountforel for the assist on this one 😊

Thank you to Rosario Lopez for providing both Catalan and Spanish spoken word samples. It must be a world first for a Catalan Number Station.

Honey cake by @honeycakebymary is delicious. 🍯

@lottiegotcake gives the best advice. 🍰

(Rey is looking very buxom the way my t-shirt is lying. Not doing an emoji for this line.)

The start, middle and end of the first of the walks in the @livinglondonhistory book that I received for Christmas. Good fun and a nice day for it.
