Beautiful days are always a beautiful time to reflect. ⠀
⠀
Today I was thinking a lot about forgiveness. ⠀
⠀
We all get hurt in life...there’s no way around it. Some hurts are small and some big. Some hurt a little and some hurt deep in your soul. Sometimes your violator’s actions are so pathetic, they need your compassion. Usually, for me, showing forgiveness is pretty immediate, but in one particular instance I’ve had to forgive over and over again for one particular action that seems to repeat itself. So forgiveness can actually be a long and drawn out process, but it doesn’t have to be filled with hate. It’s actually hard to hate someone you show compassion for and lift up prayers for. You should be able to go to the person who has hurt you and talk about the hurt, but that may not always be the case. The person may be stuck in the past or may not see what they did wrong. Most recently I learned that whoever has hurt you...may actually make talking about what occurred more difficult...sometimes you just have to take it to a professional or a wise, loving person you trust....and always straight to God. Until they have more clarity, you can’t really speak to them about it...but you can still pray and forgive them...and if clarity unfolds then the relationship can be mended, if not, peace will be given. 🙏🏽⠀
⠀
Today’s a beautiful day, and beautiful days are always a great time to forgive and live on! ⠀

I said this to my husband the other day...and I think it’s all about faith...⠀
⠀
Faith helps me to stay focused⠀
Faith helps me to fight for my purpose⠀
Faith helps me to manage my different callings throughout the day⠀
⠀
No, I’m not perfect and still go through hard times but faith...helps me get up and keep rocking! ⠀
⠀
...and as long as I have breath in my body, I have purpose and life to LIVE!⠀
