Here are a few more shots of the process captured by @vavimami . Some of these pieces spend a month with me, some of them an hour. But in the end they all have the same impact on me no matter how big or small.

Bringing pieces of earth and joining them with water.
Leaving them to the wind and sun to dry.
Then building a fire for them that brings them to permanence, something that can last years and generations.
That’s special to me, working alongside the earth to honor her.💚

first wine & bowties bazaar in oakland, ca

was many many months in the making, just brainstorming and daydreaming about what would make this day a memorable experience for this loving community that deserves everything

throwing something of this size comes with its challenges, but I think we did a pretty decent job 🤷🏽‍♀️

shoutout all the crew putting in hours of prep work, the exhibitors for going all out, and our musicians @_soul.light.collective_ @_prospect.band_ @chefleee @seijioda and @7000coils who were all the perfect fit for this day ☀️

Fabi is the first person we collaborated with after moving to Portland, we created a yellow suit back in 2019 and it was the first garment I had sewn professionally since graduating from design school.
This is the third suit we’ve created together and it’s always a pleasure to work with someone so talented and inspiring. Swipe to see the previous two suits we created 🌱
