July 2025 Film 🎞️

It's been hard to scroll back this far in my camera roll. It's filled with the obsessive screen shots and screen recordings that grief grabs you by. Doubling up on any memory, any part of hodari, I couldn't handle losing more. The fact that I have photos of doing anything other than cry and stare at my bedroom wall genuinely surprised me. I don't remember anything last summer. Just small peaks of memories, like the sun shining through the shades. I remember most of these photos, but mostly how my brain felt like mush, like it had been microwaved and left with the door shut to rot the rest of the year. by @vavimami

Caught @heladotropicalmusic on a last minute trip home 🌁

Honored to witness the beginnings of the new band baby of @heladonegro x @reynatropical 🌜 it's no news they are both incredibly talented on their own but the stage chemistry and banter made it feel like you were part of the family affair. 🌞 taken in San Francisco, California by @vavimami

Jo's spring birthday. Defrosting us from winter with a seafood boil in the park. Bubbles, boxed wine and giggles. Queers frolicking searching for Easter eggs. 💛💚🧡 taken in Albuquerque, New Mexico by @vavimami

I refuse to be asked to behave politically neutral in this climate by a workplace. So I quit 💘 I wasn't 100% ready to make the jump into jewelry full time now. But here we are. I have so many friends and family across the states and in the world on my platform. If you've been waiting to buy a piece, now is a great time. If not, please like, comment, repost, directly share my jewelry page @vavistrenzitas with people you know that love big bold handmade pieces. ☀️ taken in Albuquerque, New Mexico by @vavimami
