Walking into my 4th year of motherhood… here's what it's really taught me. There's more but let's stick to the theme! 1. There is no perfect work-life balance. I've learnt to lean on my village, ask for help, and let go of doing everything alone. 2. I'm finding myself again, but she's different now with bigger dreams. Motherhood didn't take away who I am; it revealed a more intentional version of me. 3. Getting back into my old clothes isn't about 'bouncing back.' It's about styling them for the woman I've become more confident, intentional, and comfortable in my own skin. 4.Watching my son turn four last week reminds me that I'm growing too. As he becomes more independent, I'm rediscovering my passions, my creativity, and making space for myself again. Postcards from Florence 🇮🇹 Summer 26 🤞🏾

A little bit behind the scenes of my first visit to Pitti Filati @pittimmagine in Florence 🇮🇹. We @blackgirlknitclub invested in ourselves and travelled to one of the world's leading yarn trade fairs to meet and build relationships for a better understanding of the journey, from fibre to finished product as we venture into developing our knit kits. One thing that stayed with me was the craftsmanship, innovation and expertise seeing that up close was inspiring. At the same time we were the one who looked like us in those rooms bringing a different perspective to textiles. Building isn't easy, it's showing up asking questions, connecting and learning. I'm balancing this as a married, mum of two currently working full time in the construction industry; it's possible to go for what you want a season at a time. 💫 #founderlife #florenceitaly creative entrepreneur brand building business trip research trip mumpreneurs

December dump part 1 Celebrated my lovely cousin and his gorgeous wife’s wedding ceremony. They looked amazing. Had my habitual boogie with my mum and her sisters at our family get together. Dara exhibited her make artistry skills on aunty lol. Went to Santas grotto with uncle and met St Nicholas on the way. His beard mehn, so white, long and thick. Dara wasn’t impressed 😒🤔. She enjoyed wearing all her Christmas outfits though. Got our steps in running after her in the soft play centre. Need to do that more often. Had some cool fun with the millennials at my church. Really needed that downtime and the exhilarating atmosphere helped. Really nice meeting new people that share your values and are adverse to wahala. @kirkfranklin’s Stomp is an absolute classic. Did a subtle chemical peep at @amasclinicuk . Loved that they had worship instrumentals, really nice. My face postpartum has been really suffering with acne breakout. Never had so much acne in my life, something has to be done. Will be following up with micro needling. Did anyone else suffer with this? What did y’all do? Been topping up with @veesjuiceboxco shots. They really hit the spot 🔥 and I like the taste. Have to restore my gut health and immune system. My mum has been banging on about this so finally gonna take heed. Did my essential meet up with my girlies. Was much needed. Always nice to debrief to sisters that understand pretty much everything you’re going through 🫶🏾🤗❤️. Part 2 will be posted tomorrow. Happy New Year in advance ❤️ #ChristmasMoments #UKMomLife #FamilyTime #FaithAndCommunity #LifeLately

MeWe Members ✨ As we continue spotlighting our amazing 2025/26 Incubator cohort, here’s a throwback to September, when we kicked off the programme with our first in-person session. We brought together a cohort of creative social entrepreneurs for a day dedicated to connection, collaboration, and setting intentions for the year ahead. These sessions are where the magic of peer learning happens - entrepreneurs sharing insights, challenges, and solutions with each other. This event marked the start of this cohort’s MeWe journey, and we’re excited to build on it next year when we meet again in February! #MakingLeaders #MakingWaves #MakingChange #CreativeEntrepreneurs #MeWe360 📷 @ramoneanderson_

MeWe Member Spotlight 🧶 Over the last few months, we’ve been highlighting members of our Incubator 2025/2026 cohort - this year’s inspiring and bold creative social entrepreneurs! Meet Vea Koranteng and Sicgmone Kludje, founders of Black Girl Knit Club (BGKC), the first knitwear collective of its kind in the UK, created by and for Black women and girls. Both born and raised in East London and of Ghanaian descent, Sicgmone and Vea are driven by a shared passion for cultural heritage, creativity, and the power of bringing people together through craft. @blackgirlknitclub began with a simple but powerful intention: to create a safe, affirming space where like-minded Black women and girls could gather, learn new skills, and be inspired. Through hand-knitting workshops, talks, and creative sessions, BGKC fosters confidence, builds community, and preserves cultural narratives through textile art. Earlier this year, Sicgmone and Vea were named one of five winners of the Deutsche Bank Awards for Creative Entrepreneurs (DBACE 2025), receiving funding and 12 months of business support through MeWe360. We’re proud to support BGKC their journey as part of the MeWe Incubator 2025/2026 cohort, and we're excited to see how their impact continues to grow 💫
