First please support @vegan_yes they are incredible people making incredible food. Secondly, I have so many wonderful memories catching up with old friends and I am a sentimental sappy tree. But I don't post people pics without consent first so more pics will come later. This second chance at life makes me so grateful for every day and breath. I will never be able t I fully thank the donor family or the donor enough for this precious gift. I hoped and kept fighting to make it back to London and France to see old friends and this trip is a whirlwind of heartfelt emotions. I am the same age my friend Mike was when he tragically passed in Isle of Skye. We knew each other from activism for lgbtq+ in CA and he hosted me and showed me the best tours of London. He was one of the kindest, best allies, and passionate about all rights environmental, animal, and human. He took me to London Pride and his kindness allowed me to make so many friends out here and fall in love with the city and the people surrounding. I owe all my London memories to you Mike and wish you were here. I am so lucky to be alive and to be able to see so many cherished friends on this trip. To watch my nephews grow up and pick out something special for them out here. And just everything. I do not have an easy body but I love its resilience through the pains and complications. I cannot be anything but grateful for each day even in this very crazy world. The amazing people and creatures and sights are proof there is good in this world and progress can be made. Thank you to Chef Mauro and Dr. Min for incredible dinner and catch up and I look forward to popping in again. Bordeaux was short but amazing and the day I left my incredible friend Ali and his partner Julie welcomed their son into this world. In disbelief at how good life can be sometimes after all the hardships. Sending love to everyone ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

London Restaurant Review✨ @vegan_yes was hands down one of my best vegan restaurant experiences to date.💃🏾🥰

Chef Mauro had the BEST homemade kombucha, one of the most DELICIOUS and creative vegan burgers I’ve ever tasted and the dessert and ambiance made me feel right at home.🥰

I had a kimchi tasting and kombucha tasting that had my taste buds dancing💃🏾

He even shared his burger recipe and cookbook so Daren and I can make some of the incredible recipes at home. I’ll definitely be back🥰

Hemp Kombucha 10/10
Sushi Burger 10/10
Mochi Dessert 10/10

He also had vegan crème brûlée and a non-vegan crème brûlée connoisseur came in and absolutely loved it! See stories.✨

Definitely save and stop by whenever you’re in the London area!

SAVE this if you love fusion foods 🤩✨

We always wanted to try @vegan_yes and we finally had the time to visit! We weren’t sure how Korean and Italian would mix together but boy was it goood!

We met Mauro the chef who is Italian and married Dr. Min who is Korean and together they created @vegan_yes

Mauro shared all the benefits of consuming fermented foods like kimchi, holistic approaches to eating food that is genuinely good for your gut and how this helps your overall wellbeing. 🌱

He spends time talking to customers before they dine to ensure they have the best experience.Anyone who walks through their doors leaves with more knowledge about the power plant based fermented foods!

We hope you get the chance to visit soon!

With love,
Shan & Zed

It was a much appreciated return to @vegan_yes on Brick Lane, Shoreditch for a vibrant dose of gut-healthy goodness 🥢

Meet the Kimchi Rainbow — a colourful celebration of all four varieties of their house-made kimchi, bringing together the perfect balance of spicy, tangy and crunchy. Topped with sesame seeds, spring onions and a drizzle of gochujang, every bite is packed with flavour. 🌶️✨

This was accompanied by a refreshing Blue Pea Flower Kombucha Bubble Tea 💙🧋 — unique, delicious and wonderfully refreshing.

A colourful, nourishing vegan feast that genuinely feeds the mind, body and soul. 💚

A spring into summer season with Community Apothecary as we reach midsummer and another heat dome, thankful for a period of rain. The harvests are in abundance ☀️ giant appreciation to all who take part in our gently widening, deepening and strengthening circles of herb love, exchange, learning & care. We continue our explorations of herbal and ecosystem health in garden and at @hornbeam_centre apothecary, with work currently being done amongst our team to develop our programme in ways that keep being responsive to our communities into the future. In summer the herbs bring such gorgeous rewarding power of freshness, scent, healing energy and we’re grateful for them and the land that holds them and us. 🙏🏾
