2025

To new beginnings and bittersweet endings.
To breaking bad habits and healing from the past.
To fighting anger with love.
To the new friends I’ve made, and those I am sorry to have disappointed.
To screaming unreleased lady Gaga in a near empty nightclub with some of your best friends in the world.
To finding enjoyment and light on the darkest days, to fighting for truth amidst lies, and finding safety surrounded by fear.

2025 pushed me to unbearable limits, and every year comes with their good and bad. Nothing is certain, and everything can and will change. Amidst the mayhem, I found myself again, thanks to all the joyful people, art, and experiences from this year.

Happy happy holidays and a very happy new year
❤️❤️❤️Sam

want to show some love to all the amazing features on the album

@velvet_dreaming and i met on the pc music subreddit like 3 years ago and have talked about doing a song together for YEARS. so so so talented i have so much respect and love for their music. seriously honored to have them on the track and they KILLED IT. i seriously believe in a velvet future and the fact they were so willing to jump on this track rlly does mean the world to me <3

@anniescherer legit has one of the prettiest voices ive ever heard. ngl she was hesitant to jump on the track because it seriously is so drastically different from anything she's released before, but she did anyways and made it one of my favorite tracks on the project. thank you annie for trusting me w your voice and im so so so happy with how it turned out (also check out the dead sea remix i made of her song on youtube, shiz is crazy)

@itsremivox is someone where i felt like our musical styles clicked very easily. as soon as i heard her stuff i knew i wanted to make a song with her. on fakeurdeath i feel like we captured such a perfect 2009 electropop kinda energy this whole track feels nostalgic

all these people are so insanely talented in their own right and deserve all the flowers. please check each of them out!! i promise you you'll find something you like in there. my fav tracks from each are fun 2night by VD, dead sea by annie scherer, and the n.s.d. by remi sira

THANK YOU GUYS AGAIN I HOPE WE COLLAB AGAIN ONE DAY I LOVE YALL 4EVR <3 !!!1!1!
