When I was 15, my dad showed me Harold and Maude, and I learned two things:

1. I really liked Cat Stevens.
2. One day, I was gonna drive a hearse.

Today, both things are true. 🖤

The never-ending baby season 🫠

🦝 Two new baby raccoons, because apparently we’re doing baby season in October now. If all goes well after quarantine, these two will be overwintered with our girl Bonnie!

🪵 Our habituated groundhog developed a limp. One missing nail bed, some wound care, and a groundhog wrestling match later, she should be good as new. New wildlife rehab vest patch unlocked. 🥵

💗 And meet Granny Charlotte, who came to us from Nashville Humane. She’s as old as a dinosaur but not in distress, so we’re not sure how long she’ll be with us. However long it is, she’ll have the best end of life possumable.

And that’s just a few of the intakes we’ve gotten in the last 48 hours. 🫠

For 7 years The Underdog has provided a uniquely Nashville experience to locals and tourists from around the world, offering the best Music City has to offer.

Meet little miss Bonnie Raitt!

Got a stacked weekend coming up with the @verminsanctuary fundraiser car and bike wash @theunderdognashville SATURDAY!
Gonna be a riot with good tunes and plenty of hooch.
I’m also hosting the semi annual Spaghetti Western Sunday Affair!
I’ll be cooking up a big ole pot of your favorite noods, and hoping y’all will bring a dish or drink to share as well! I made too much last year so don’t be a flake! I have some special musical guests, a fire pit, and it’s all happening right here in East Nashville!

Where a white shirt and join the spaghetti eating contest to win a VERY stupid prize!
