❗️A BRUTHA SPEAKS ❗️ 🤔 About Facts And Acts 🤔 🧠 Look 👀 And I Don’t Mean Just Visually 🧠 🔄 It’s Been Proven Time And Time Again 🔄 And It’s Being Regurgitated Because Of How Many Times It’s Repetitively Done Over And Over. For One ☝🏾 Reason And That’s For Perception Purposes. Key Popular Catch Words Especially Today Like “Community” And “Culture” Are Intentionally Being Used Like A Tranquilizer Pistol 🔫 Or Pill 💊 To Sedate Your Consciousness And Awareness, Even Patronizingly. And Like I Mention It’s Been Proven Over And Over Again 🤔 More People Then YOU Realize NEED You To Fall Submissively Into Their Spell. Because Some Of Them Believe Me NEED You More Than They’ll EVER Publicly Profess. And Sadly The Madness Isn’t Even In Second Gear ⚙️ Yet. Start Researching Just How Community Oriented Some Have Truly Been. NOT How Great They’ve Been At Playing A Song Or Dancing, Or Telling Jokes Or Making A Movie. Because So Many Couldn’t Care About You BUT Need You To Perceive In Order For Them To Achieve 🤔 🧠 🤔 Peace And Blessings @bruthabasil #integrity #character #trust #fraud #content

Oct 23-24 Capoeira Batuque South Bay Batizado. Teaching Guest: Mestranda Cafeína Lina Tobón is a Colombian capoeirista, educator, and cultural manager with over two decades of experience creating artistic and pedagogical processes through capoeira. She has directed the Oficina da Capoeira group in Medellín since 2007 and acted as the director of the Corporación Mangle (2013–2025). In her work she has developed sustained training programs for children, youth, and adults, as well as stage productions and the creation of educational materials. Her projects are based on an understanding of capoeira as a cultural, political, and community practice. From this perspective, she has spearheaded Capoeira Historias de Paz (Capoeira Stories of Peace), a pedagogical approach that connects memory, territory, and peace building, resulting in the creation of educational materials and systematization processes. As graduate in Physical Education from the University of Antioquia, with training in cultural entrepreneurship management in Brazil and a master’s degree in social enterprise management, her practice integrates popular education, artistic creation, and strategic management, championing art as a tool for social transformation. @cafeinacapu

Basil HardHaus 👉🏾 ThrowBackThursday 👈🏾 (Picture 1989 At 29 Years Old 37 Years Ago) Here’s A Little Something About The Years I Rarely Speak About In The Late 80’s And Early 90’s When I Was Known As “Basil HardHaus” Almost 40 Years Ago Without Social Media I Was Able To Make A Mark. I’ve Never Used It But Out Of Curiosity Of Its Capability I Put “Basil Hardhaus” Through Chat Gpt This Came Up: Basil Hardhaus (also known as Basil Hardhouse, Brutha Basil, or his real name, Basil Thomas) is a prominent producer and DJ from the golden era of the New York deep house scene. Closely associated with the foundational New York label Nu Groove Records and the prolific Burrell Brothers, he played an integral role in shaping the soulful, hypnotic sound of underground house music in the early 1990s. Club History and Residencies Before making waves as a producer, Basil built his reputation behind the decks across Manhattan's most legendary nightlife sanctuaries: • The Paradise Garage: Worked at the foundational club alongside historical figures of dance music. • Manhattan Residencies: Held prominent residencies at Nells, The Sound Factory, Red Zone, and The Choice (where he spun alongside Larry Levan). • Wild Pitch Parties: Frequently played Greg Daye and Timmy Richardson's iconic Wild Pitch events alongside house legends Tee Scott, David Camacho, and Victor Rosado. Key Discography & Anthems In 1991, Basil made the natural transition into music production, delivering some of the era's most sampled and enduring underground hits: • "City Streets" EP (1991): His debut release on Nu Groove Records. Due to a classic era typo, the A-side spelled his name "Basil Hardhouse," while the graffiti-style logo on the flip side read "Hardhaus". The track "Breezin'" became a deep house masterclass, featuring timeless synth work by Ronald Burrell. • "Make Me Dance" (1991): Released under the moniker Basil Hardhaus 2, this classic double 12" EP featured heavy collaborative work from the Burrell brothers. • "Black Man" / "For The Underground": Notable tracks from his second EP. The "Peace-A-Pella" from this session became an iconic sampling tool utilized heavily by global DJs
