👚 Wioletta Cardigan
📝 @vert.and.rose
🧶 'Yume' colourway, dyed by @biglittleyarnco
(Yume means 'dream' in Japanese)
🛍️ Purchased from @yarning.hearts

I've always admired @vert.and.rose's patterns, so glad I finally got down to knitting one of them.
I think I might have miscounted the rows between the 'X's' (oops), but it still works out overall.

The cardigan is knit in DK weight wool yarn. I lost yarn chicken 🐓, so the last few rows of the sleeve ribbing were finished by doubling fingering weight yarn in the same colourway (I was crazy about the colour when it came out, and bought it in both DK and fingering weight, hoping to make a matching beanie but ended up making this).
As an extremely slow knitter I'm glad I finally finished this project!!
Although I'm always finishing projects past the right season 😌 and it's now getting too warm for cardigans.

Well shucks. Cute as can be, but just doesn’t fit right. Do I take it all apart and start over??? Or do I hope it works out in blocking??

New sport, new skills. Learning how to double knit a cuff while (not so) Tiny Sir works on his basketball skills.
