💛 Short Row Workshop 💛

I'm back at @knitnottingham for another workshop on the 24th of October.

If you've been wanting to add short row shaping to your projects but don't know where to start this workshop is for you.

You will learn the different techniques for working short rows to find one that works best for you, ways to use short rows to improve the fit of your garments and how to read short row instructions in patterns. There'll be lots of hands on experiance to help you trouble shoot and handy visuals to so that the process clicks for you.

This workshop is perfect for knitters with some experience looking to expand their skills and learn a new technique.

⭐️ Cables for Beginners Workshop ⭐️

I'm so excited to be teaching at @unravelfestival
It'll be my first venture into teaching outside of my local yarn shop which is equal parts scary and absolutely thrilling.

I'll take you through everything from chart reading basics to how to avoid and fix mistakes. You'll have tons of hands on experience knitting cables as well as tips and tricks from me. You'll leave with the confidence to tackle your first cable project!

I'll also be doing a talk all about different fibers and how to pick the right yarn for your project if that sounds more like your speed.

I'm absolutely in love with how this sweater turned out 💕

Believe it or not its even softer and squishier then it looks. It was truly a joy to work on.

I used @pru_yarns le fluff in the colour daisy and if you're looking for a light and fluffy yarn that's still breathable I can't recommend this enough. The blend of cotton and alpaca is perfect. Plus you get a lot of bang for your buck with each dk weight skein coming it at 300m per 100g. by @vert.and.rose
