An Absolute MUST if you have Tight Hips The Shinbox Stretch or 90/90 Stretch is extremely versatile and can easily be progressed or regressed depending on where and how tight you are. Most of my clients have some variation of this in their program either prior to our sessions or in their recovery Pro Tip: I like doing this stretch while sitting with my kids are the floor - If you have a @therabody or @hyperice hypervolt, sit in this position while using it in your lower body! #mobility #stretching #hipmobility #hipstretch

DIFFERENCES ON HOW YOU LOAD YOUR LUNGE Ever see someone holding a weight or barbell and wonder what the difference/benefit between them. Then SAVE and SHARE this post At the end of the day ALL variations are great. There is no good or bad way. The best program/exercise is the one you do consistently Does it best suit your goal? Where you are in your training? (Beginner vs advance) Or just have a personal preference? 🔥DIFFERENCES ⚡️1 WEIGHT IN EACH HAND •Versatile option suitable for most people •Offers a good balance between leg strength development and core stability. ⚡️CONTRALATERAL • Weight in the opposite hand to your working leg • Less demanding on core stability compared to others •Allows you to focus on leg strength of working leg. • GREAT Entry Point ⚡️IPSILATERAL • Weight is held in the same hand as your working leg • ⬆️ difficulty on core and challenges balance more than the contralateral lunge • Might be beneficial if you need more single leg power and stability. ⚡️GOBLET • Weight held high in front of body • Great Entry Point • Promotes a more upright posture, potentially reducing stress on the lower back. ⚡️BACK LOADED •Barbell on your back • Allows you to lift the heaviest weight due to the barbell being positioned on your back •Great for Strength 🔥THINGS TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT ⚡️Body Response - The body adapts to the specific demands of each lunge variation. From: 🔸Muscle Recruitment 🔸Neuromuscular Coordination: 🔸Strength and Stability Gains: ⚡️Stride Length ⚡️Depth Give these a shot & let me know how they go! 🏋🏻‍♂️: @vettafit

Add these exercises to your workout routine Looking to improve your golf swing or just improve your overall mobility - these are for you! CUES: First exercise - First, the weight doesn’t need to be heavy. You want enough resistance to where you feel it but not enough to where you are muscling your way through it. Be in control - Keep tensions throughout the movement -Drive feet into ground - Pull yourself into the backswing or as you return to the top position. - Tempo and control are huge as you are eccentricly loading your back swing and looking to improve range of motion through your mid back as well as hip internal rotation Second exercise - Keep tension in band throughout movement - Stay in a hinged position or your natural golf stance - As you move over head your arms should be the only thing moving. - The goal is to maintain posture through your torso. Especially for those of you who lose your posture while you swing. Try these out and let me know how they go! 🏋🏻‍♂️: @vettafit #mobility #strengthtraining #fitness #workouttips #strength #muscle #golfswing #golffitness #golfworkout #summer

Plank Pull-Through & Plank Push-Pull (with a Kettlebell) SAVE THIS POST Upgrade your Core Routine with these dynamic exercises challenging your core stability, improve shoulder mobility. Plank Pull-Through: Set Up: Start in either a high plank position or Forearm Plank with a weight to one side of your body. I typically use a kettlebell but you could easily swap out for a dumbbell, plate, medicine ball, sandbag etc. Cue: Pull the kettlebell under your chest, keeping your hips level throughout the movement. Bonus Tip: Place a yoga block or a ball on your back as a tactile cue. This helps ensure your hips stay level. 2. Plank Push-Pull: Set Up: Start in the same high or forearm plank position with the weight directly under your chest. Cue: Press the kettlebell straight up overhead, maintaining a strong plank position. Slowly lower the kettlebell back to its starting position under your chest. Parameters Go for a count of 5-12 per side or for a specific duration such as 20-60 second Make sure you hit the FOLLOW button on your way out #plank #kettlebell #kettlebellexercises #coreworkout #core #functionaltraining #functionalfitness #strongcore #exercises #exercisetips
