💜 Today is World Mental Health Day.

As a medium, I have the privilege of speaking with people who carry invisible burdens every day.

🖤 Grief

🖤Anxiety

🖤Depression

🖤Loss

🖤Loneliness

The kind of pain that isn’t always obvious to the outside world.

If that’s you today, please know that you don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t have to be positive all the time. You don’t have to pretend you’re okay if you’re not.

And if you’re missing someone you love, especially someone whose life was affected by mental health struggles or suicide, please know that remembering them, speaking their name, and keeping their memory alive matters.

Whatever you’re carrying today, I hope you can give yourself the same compassion you would so freely give to someone else.

Take things one breath, one moment, one step at a time. 💜

If you’d like to, leave a 💜 in the comments so others know they’re not alone.

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts lately criticising people who are new to holistic, wellness and spiritual work.

You know the ones:

“They’ve only done a weekend course.”

“They’ve only recently become interested in spirituality.”

“They haven’t devoted their whole life to this.”

But here’s what I think:

Just because someone discovers their gifts, their passion or their purpose later than someone else doesn’t make them any less capable.

Over the years, many people have come to me for readings because they’re considering starting their own practice. They want guidance, reassurance, or simply someone to sound things out with. And I think that’s wonderful.

I’ve never believed we’re in competition with one another. There is room for all of us. We each bring our own experiences, our own energy, our own perspective and our own way of helping people. The clients who are meant for me will find me, just as the clients who are meant for someone else will find them.

Let’s stop putting other practitioners down to elevate ourselves.

Let’s, encourage and celebrate one another instead.

There’s more than enough space for everyone to shine ✨

Today I went for a walk in the woods and it got me thinking about how nature mirrors life.

Paths bend. Leaves fall. Seasons change. Nothing stays the same for long.

Our own journeys are much the same. We face challenges, unexpected turns, loss and uncertainty. Yet somehow we keep moving forward, often realising afterwards that the hardest parts of the path led us to where we needed to be.

Maybe change isn’t something to resist.

And maybe loss isn’t just about what we’ve left behind, but about making space for what’s still to come. 🌿✨
