Impossible not to smile when wearing the new @vibetours.co Italy edition jersey. The design was inspired by the colorful horse-drawn carts of Sicily. Even at 80 degrees in Tuscany the long sleeves felt right. Good evaporation. Hit me up if you want to grab one. Supply is limited.

A few moments from last week cycling tour with @vibetours.co in Southern Tuscany.
Great people, beautiful roads, and plenty of bikes to look after!

The inimitable Liz and Ian, constants on our VIBE DC rides, who — in the words of @christianvdv — are the QOM/KOM of VIBE Tuscany 2026. Wow! Super fun times!

Had the chance to meet, talk with, and “interview” @christianvdv to answer questions from rider friend at home; while riding in beautiful Tuscany with @vibetours.co

My 2nd tour (last year with @seppkuss) with this tour group who know how to find fantastic rides, culture, and food - nothing but fun for me and the other great guests.

The VIBE DC Sunday ride is sponsored by VIBE Tours’ Tuscany Trip, Sept 26 to Oct 3.

Six VIBE DC riders are going (Yup that’s kind of us in the AI image 😂). Two spots left.

Tuscany leader Steve Dorst will be at Grace Street early at 8:00 AM Sunday with complimentary croissants. Grab a coffee, ask him anything.

Or chat with any of the VIBE DC riders going (Ian, Liz, Hales, Steve, Jeff, SJ not pictured 🤓).

Or stick around at Tatte after the Sunday ride. Ask any of us about Tuscany.

Or check out the Tuscany trip website: https://www.vibetours.co/tuscany-2026-with-christian-vande-velde

That mission lines up perfectly with ours, so this Sunday they are fueling our riders at the finish. Free smoothies for all riders while supplies last. Ahead of the ride, we will post the smoothie options in WhatsApp Ride Chat so you can vote on your favorite, that way South Block knows what to have ready when we roll in.

Ever wonder why some Sundays feel harder than others? Ride with Dave is an 80s cycling legend who reads your ride file and texts you afterward about nutrition, recovery, and what actually happened out there. New users who register for the ride on Strava and sign up at www.ridewithdave.com by Sunday night get 45 days free instead of the usual 30. Just use the same name on both so we can match you up and get your extra time applied.

📍 Start, both rides
Grace Street Coffee
3299 Water St NW, Washington DC
🍹 Post Ride, this Sunday only
South Block Georgetown
3210 Grace St NW, Washington DC

🕗 Schedule
8:00 AM gather and grab coffee
8:20 AM pre ride briefing
8:30 AM roll out

VIBE DC Ride Leader Spotlight - Jerzy Romanowski

From Jerzy: “Building this community around the simple joy of riding together ranks among the most meaningful things I have done in my journey of love for cycling.

My introduction to real, organized group riding came when Rapha opened their clubhouse in Georgetown in 2018. I walked in, got on a ride, and immediately fell in love with the sense of team and connection I had been missing riding alone. I joined the Rapha ride leader program and never looked back.

When Steve Dorst approached me last year to organize and lead VIBE DC, I jumped at the chance. Today we have 12 amazing ride leaders and 1,288 members on Strava, and every Sunday reminds me why this community matters.

I can lead A, B, and C groups but my heart is in leading and teaching B and C. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a rider grow in confidence, find their rhythm in a group, and discover the joy of riding together. That connection between people is what group riding is all about and it is what keeps me showing up every week.

Favorite place to ride: any ride with a group of really fun people. The destination is always secondary.

Languages spoken: English and Polish.

Outside of cycling I listen to chill and lounge music and practice yoga.

Fun fact: Travel, travel, travel, discover new places, and meet new people. I also have the biggest sweet tooth, so thank goodness for cycling.

Join us Sunday at 8:30 AM at Grace Street Coffee, Georgetown. RIDE. EXPLORE. VIBE
