Three years after her first half marathon, she decided to do it again. 🏃‍♀️

But this time, something was different.

After incorporating Pilates into her training, she experienced a stronger, more mobile and better-prepared body—and, most importantly, a completely different experience after the run.

What started with the perception that Pilates might not be for her became an important part of her fitness and running journey.

Her story is a reminder that Pilates isn’t just about flexibility or movement. It’s about building a body that can perform, recover and keep doing what you love. 💪

And with the right guidance, the transformation becomes even more meaningful.

As an avid runner, he always believed that running was all he needed to stay fit and perform better. Like many people, he also once thought Pilates was “just for women.”

But that perception changed after experiencing Pilates for himself.

From improving strength and mobility to becoming more aware of how his body moves, Pilates has become an important part of his training routine—and something he now sees as a valuable complement to running.

Sometimes, you don’t need to change your goal. You just need to change the way you train for it. 🏃‍♂️

This is what we love about Pilates at PilateSi—helping people discover what their bodies are truly capable of.

OOTYULTRA 2026 | My First Official Ultra (not just any ultra, it’s OOTYULTRA)

I became an #ultramalaivasi in 2023, but this run felt more earned, because I ran 50 Kms in the mountains, approximately 1400 mts in elevation gain and touched the highest elevation of 2631 mts.

After having run 30k twice, I decided to run the 50k that was newly introduced in this edition. With HYROX just 3 weeks away, Dr. V was worried about my recovery and training. He carefully and strategically planned my runs and training incorporating both HYROX and ultra running. Dr. V @giftoffitness increased my mileage slowly after Yoddha in January and I simultaneously began HYROX training at SweatBox with Sunil @befitwith_sunil , as my strength trainer.

I worked hard. Blood, toil, tears and sweat - and I focused more on my sleep this time around. I ate healthy, slept well (most days) and had my wine occasionally :))

Srikanth was determined to help Mohan and me complete the distance (he downgraded from 75k to 50k for our sake). I was determined to bring Mo, home. I wanted him to become an official ultramarathoner before he left.

I also convinced my sister to attempt her first-ever 15k at OOTYULTRA. And boy, was she hard to convince!!

I also kept pushing Jagan Anna to run the OOTYULTRA and he ran 50k in 5:32, finishing 2nd overall and 1st in his age category.

Ravi enjoyed this course last year and he upgraded as well :))

My dad was laid to rest in Coonoor and this was his 3rd anniversary. We enjoyed 4 runs in total and thanks to Sandy Boy, for being part of our runs ♥️. I missed our boys this time and running with them but we made a new running friend Anirudh.

Instead of just the 3 of us going to Coonoor, we were 9 and Harish Anna joined too with his family. A random group chat, turned into a girls trip with Christine and my everything, Nat.

A huge thank you Coach Kay and the wonderful team at OOTYULTRA who helped with our registrations. You make the toughest race memorable and enjoyable :))

We only relied on sag on the course as our goal was to finish the race strong and we did in 8 hours and 29 minutes (1 hour before the cut-off).

2 days to go....🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

This one is going to be the most memorable run of my life. Took a lot of courage to sign up for this craziest, coolest, highest altitude at -20 - 25°. Have prepared mentally for this...physically, it's still a challenge, but I will certainly see the finish line💪💯🏃‍♀️

Pro tip that can completely change how you plan your visit 👀

Instead of searching for an entire city,
search for the exact place you’re visiting.

For example:
❌ Searching “Mumbai” gives you broad, generic information.
✅ Searching “Marine Drive” gives you what actually matters.

Why this works better:
• You get location-specific dos & don’ts
• Rules, timings, and restrictions are more accurate
• Cultural expectations are clearer

So next time, don’t just look up the city.
Look up where you’re actually going.
