The @magneticsouthrecords colourway of the @guerssen vinyl reissue of ‘Once Upon a Twilight’ by Australian sixties greats The Twilights has landed, and I couldn’t wait to see how they replicated the incredible pop-up gatefold of the original.

In short, it’s a huge success. I can’t wait to compare the LP with an original stereo pressing when they land at @vicious_sloth in the coming weeks.

A 45 a day keeps the doctor away: Tuesday - the Wild Cherries - That‘s Life - Festival #45records #festivalrecords #wildcherries #aussiegarage #jensomaticsdailysound

The Wild Cherries were Australian guitar god Lobby Lloyds second band, before he became a cult figure for Melbournes rising Sharpie subculture in the early seventies with Coloured Balls
Yesterday I was honored to hang out with original Sharpie Glenn Terry, compiler of „When Sharpies Ruled“, owner of Vicious Sloth Collectables, walking encyclopedia of all things Aussie Punk, and most of all, a Diamond Geezer! When in Melbourne, I strongly advise you to pay a visit to his shop in Malvern, you will not regret it

NEW VIDEO!!! LINK IN BIO!!!
He arrived!!!! Yesterday, the one and only connoisseur of cool landed in Australia. I was there to greet him and do the one thing we all love… take someone to cool record stores that they’ve never been to before. Yay! Yes indeed, @mike_lavella is here in the land of Oz for 3 weeks and if you’re in Sydney, Perth, or Adelaide, hit him up and organise to catch up and go record shopping or something. I’m sure he will be eager to see the sites in those cities too.

In this video we visited @vicious_sloth @grevillerecords and @rowdys_records and see what he picked up AND we also see first hand his dedication to Guided By Voices. It was a hell of a fun time. Go watch, follow him and his YouTube channel and have the best day ever. Yay!

Incredibly excited that @guerssen are finally reissuing this Aussie Psych-Pop classic. With originals commanding high prices, this was much needed.

Collectors in Australia will be able to get their copies locally from @vicious_sloth - watch this space for an update.
