Will share more pictures from our Gleason Gras night soon but had to end this holiday weekend saying THANK YOU to Steve Gleason and everyone with @teamgleason Julia and I are were honored to be recognized as the 2026 Mission Champions. We are so thankful for all the help Team Gleason has poured into our lives and are grateful we can give back in any way. We will continue to help spread awareness about ALS so those in need know where to turn to. ALS Awareness - Day 29 - Training Wheels This is an appreciation post for @teamgleason for providing me with my first portable power wheelchair which got me through a pretty rapid period in my progression. I asked for the chair in October and received it in early November, which is about when I actually started needing it. It is serendipitous that we boxed up the wheelchair to send back to Team Gleason this morning. Julia and I have accepted a role on Team Gleason’s host committee for Gleason Gras 2026. We had our first call this morning and it was great to meet everyone involved with this wonderful organization and event. Back to the wheelchair, it’s gotten to the point where I can no longer easily get in and out of the portable wheelchair it’s just too low and it’s too much strain on my legs to get up. So I will be in my larger permobil power chair from here on out. My portable chair will go back to Team Gleason to be cleaned, adjusted and sent back out to another ALS patient. This is one of the many services they provide to people living with ALS. As you can see from the pictures, we made a ton of good memories by Team Gleason‘s loaning of this portable power chair. If you would like to be involved with Team Gleason or our mission moving forward, feel free to contact me or Julia and we can let you know who to get in touch with over at Team Gleason. We are looking for sponsors for Gleason Gras, or if you want to donate directly to our family, a portion of your donation will make its way back to @teamgleason as well.

Day 10 - ALS Awareness - Mother’s Day No big ALS post today, just a shoutout to Julia who has done an amazing job juggling being a great Mom and now taking care of me all the time. She always talked about having a third kid, but I don’t think she ever bargained for a 42 year old toddler. God bless her and all of the other wives/care givers out there who are having to battle this. Also shout out to my Mom, the best Mom and Yaya around!
