Day 10 - ALS Awareness - Mother’s Day

No big ALS post today, just a shoutout to Julia who has done an amazing job juggling being a great Mom and now taking care of me all the time. She always talked about having a third kid, but I don’t think she ever bargained for a 42 year old toddler. God bless her and all of the other wives/care givers out there who are having to battle this.

Also shout out to my Mom, the best Mom and Yaya around! by @vickistellar

Happy happy 89th birthday to my my mom. What an amazing life she has led…

She was a skater with the Roller Derby
Was on the Pro Bowler tour
Lived in Libya and was one of the few women who drove… we were evacuated when the war broke out and snuck our dog onto an army cargo plane
Lived in Singapore
Lived in Australia and coached my brother’s baseball team in the Junior Olympics … she was the only female coach
Built a farm called Happy Acres with my dad in Weatherford that was a home to all who came down the Lane… especially stray animals

She is an AMAZING mom and such an example of living a selfless life! Love you MOM!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ by @vickistellar
