cork city marathon 2026 🏅

that was a tough day out!! first half was the best, ran with @catie_meehan and pb’d my half marathon for the first time in 2 years!! 🫶🏼

there were moments I thought it might have been a marathon pb for me too but after 28k my knees started to hurt bad, pushed through slowly to 35k but my hips came at me too, took a few walking breaks on the final 8k but made it across the finish line about 5 mins slower than my pb, which honestly I can’t be upset about considering how the block went but seeing your pb pacers drift off into the distance is never a fun experience 🥲

so grateful to have so many supporters, both expected and unexpected, along the course, I really did feel the love out there 🥹

time for a big big rest, a lot of recovery and then we’ll start thinking about the next goal ✨

I am so proud of our city for showing that Limerick is behind them! They still have a long way to go so if you can, please get out and support them as they continue the rest of their journey and if you can get to Dublin on the 28th please please do! These guys deserve all the support in the world 🫶🏼
