In honor of the upcoming Kips Bay Decorator Show House New York, we wanted to spotlight Lisa Erdmann Interiors. ✨Earlier this year, Lisa completely transformed a space at the Kips Bay Palm Beach Show House into a Mustique-inspired sitting room. Her design brought the outdoors in, creating the ultimate beachside oasis.

Remember when I showed you this pretty wallpaper? Look at how beautiful it looks all hung. Couldn’t be prettier. A third floor primary suite where you look out among the tree tops, this paper brought the room to life. Next, onto the window treatments.

As you know, I love color! I think it really just adds a smile to your home, welcoming people to their own private oasis! But there are so many ways that you can use color in your home. For this client, she wanted, vibrant, pops of color, something different and unexpected. They live right on the water at the shore in New Jersey, but we didn’t want it to be coastal cliché, we wanted a nod to coastal, a nod to modern traditional and a nod to some whimsy.

I always tell my clients that the goal when using color is that not everything has to match it just has to go!

Keep that in mind the next time you want to bring color into your home!

ANOTHER FUN, FAB work day yesterday with @curated__by__monica! Gosh I am REALLY enjoying this new gig!!
