That little boy is still a part of me.

My childhood was chaotic. I grew up without truly knowing what peace felt like, and I carried that pain into adulthood without always understanding how much it was affecting my choices.

It wasn’t until I became a man and started facing what hurt that I found him again. The little boy who needed love, reassurance, and a chance to feel safe. We started healing together.

When people say your childhood affects the decisions you make as an adult, I can speak from experience. I see it in my own life. I can’t change what happened, but I’m learning to take responsibility for what happens next.

I’m not perfect. I still make mistakes. Some days, the work is harder than others. But I’m becoming a healthier version of myself, and I’m proud of the man I’m learning to be.

When I look at this picture, I wish I could reach back and tell him, “You won’t always feel this way. One day, you’ll know peace. One day, you’ll smile and mean it.”

I’m still healing, but I’m living proof that change is possible.

To the little boy I once was: I’m sorry it took me so long to understand what you needed. I’m here now. And I’m going to keep showing up for us.

A huge thank you to @vidalmindset for helping me heal with our hypnotherapy program that truly helped me to get better!

Super proud of @vidal.hypnosis . Such a strong dude . I know he does not make excuses but he went into that fight fighting off an infection, dislocated his shoulder in the first round , knee in the second, got cut open in the first exchange. Was up against one of the best bare knuckle fighters in the world. He was never out of the fight, did not get dropped and fought to the last bell. You definitely have not seen the best version of The KNUCKLEMANIAC yet. #TEAMKNUCKLEMANIAC
