**Proud coach moment!** 💪

Rock Fitness Coach Josh has been training these two absolute beasts — Lynn (left) and Mary (right) — and they just crushed it at Iron Wars!

Both took home **1st Place** and both set **Texas state records** on the deadlift. Insane work ethic, consistency, and the right coaching paid off big time.

Proof that a great trainer makes all the difference. If you’re ready to level up, break records, and actually get results…

Year 3 of Strongman
"Successful female athletes come in all shapes and sizes"- Dr. Barbara Drinkwater
This year was dramatic in so many ways. Dramatically good, and in some cases dramatically bad... almost mini mental breakdown level (honesty is welcomed here and needed), but I survived and I am stronger than ever. Not just in physical strength, but in learning to appreciate my body and loving that I am not the "standard", and with that came the rock bottom hit of understanding that breaks and rest are vital. I've traveled thousands of miles in total and I've met so many strong woman who make the stress of competition easier. Fun fact: your competition in most cases are your loudest cheering section.
This year, my goal is to fine tune my strengths and work on building my weaknesses up...and with that I will be doing more purpose driven comps and working towards traveling more 🫡

Season is almost over but these boys will make it to championship and I’m confident they will win it. Such a great team. Julio Manuel had 2 home runs today.

4 months has felt like 8,000 years but we’re FINALLY BACK! 😭

I feel like I’ve lost everything that I worked SO. HARD. for over a year to accomplish. But despite the set back, what we are NOT gonna do is wallow, be embarrassed or quit.

Time to get back to work 😤

RockFitness was proud to represent woman’s strength at the Riveter III Strongman competition in Austin yesterday.

Our athletes Mary Kathryn Waters - Carrillo walked away with a ticket to USS Nationals, and Lynn Johnson set a new Texas State record respectively.

Proud of both of these beautiful and strong women as they pushed themselves & this sport over the weekend 🪨💪

Julio Manuel is a power house. God made him so little but mighty. It’s amazing how athletic he is and he’s never ever let his size get in his way but uses it to his advantage. He is so strong and so quick. I love watching him lock in and push hard. You would never know he kept saying for 2 weeks he didn’t want to do the competition and asked about it every single day multiple times a day but I knew that was only the anxiety talking. After he said he has so much fun and he’s glad he did it. That’s what I like to hear. He brought home first but most of all brought home more confidence. He held the Hercules hold for 2 mins 12secs. Best part is he’s building good friendships at these comps as well. Love this for my kids so much.
