Leading UK distributors since 1965. 🇬🇧

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Bloopers and all!

We tried to record a little piece to camera thanking @bergarainternational @hannamsreloading and @albertapremieroutfitters for their support to the prize table this weekend, and to also announce our latest Community Partnership with @unity.distribution and their awesome brands @nieload.dk and @mjoelnerhunting but it wasn’t quite as slick as we hoped 😅

Considered re-recording it but we were in the middle of day 2 of our Grand Slam final and time was pressing!

If you want to come see us and many of our amazing Community Partners get along to the Target Shooting Show this coming November. NRL Hunter UK members get in free and we might have some nice surprises for everyone who visits the NRL Hunter UK stand and signs up for 2027 membership 😉

Had another awesome day at @central.rimfire yesterday the October COF was ok, however @st3veo bonus stages were all mega! It was great to see so many new faces coming out to get stuck in and all being well there’ll be more next time.

@central.rimfire is beginning to grow into a real community and that showed by how much help SteveO got for setting up and tearing down. It takes a village and ours is brilliant, @mrstheryancharlton stepped in to RO.

Some great shooting across the board from everyone, in what were tricky conditions at times when the wind changed. I took top honours, ahead of @tokka777 and Rich.

Big thanks to everyone who supports my shooting addiction

It’s now been 2 years directing NRL Hunter UK matches but this was the first time putting on a two-day centrefire match, and it just happened to be our 2026 Grand Slam!

We didn’t go into the weekend with the perfect conditions but between Simon, myself, the excellent staff at Orion Firearms Training and some glorious weather, we put on a match that had everyone smiling.

The match also had a little bit of a personal feel to it for me, with my fellow Bergara team mates from France, @optimus_and_us and @gaetan_cussac joining us from across the channel to shoot in Teams Division and Bergara also sponsoring the match. I felt right at home!

I love the community we have built here in the UK. Hunters, target shooters, the firearms industry and range operators all coming together to support the sport we enjoy and promote our way of life and the benefits it brings to everyone. Long may it continue!

What a weekend for @precisionriflejoe 🏆🥇

An outstanding performance at the PRS UK Finale of the European Pro Series saw Joe take home 1st Place.

Making history as the first Englishman to claim victory on home soil in over four years! 🇬🇧

A fantastic achievement and a true testament to the skill, dedication and precision it takes to compete at the very top of the sport.

Huge congratulations, Joe! 👏🎯

Another morning in the field harvesting wild venison and getting the groundwork done.

Today was all about checking the rut stands. With this year’s fallow rut just around the corner, preparation and timing are everything.

It is incredibly rewarding to watch the pieces come together as the season kicks into high gear.

Took some time out this morning to test some .22lr ammo in the BMR-X. I started out with my usual pick, SK Match, which at 50 meters was grouping quite nicely. I then did 5x10 round groups with each of RWS Subsonic HP, RWS Club, Eley Subsonic HP and Norma Tac 22, which was a box of everything my local RFD had on the shelf when I popped in on Saturday.

The difference between the hollow point and round nosed ammo was clear to see, my rifle really not liking the RWS and Eley. The Norma was probably next best, then the RWS Club, but none of the ammo I tried could match the SK Match.

250 rounds later I stepped back to 100 meters for some practice off my Mjoelner Fenris II aluminium quad sticks. They’ve always been a very stable set of sticks but I was feeling rusty after not been out much with the rifle over summer and it was clear I needed the practice!

Can’t believe it’s October! Between house moves and other things I’ve hardly been out with the rifle this summer so it’s great to be able to enjoy a hunt before the weather changes.

I think I’ll go out again tomorrow!
