October photo dump! Even when I feel like I didn’t do anything, I always feel like a lot happens.

Started hosting dinner parties again, hosted my last @clubharapeko for the year. Started exploring more restaurants and also worked on my first one. A lots of west coast friends in nyc and picked up silversmithing! Just three weeks left of culinary school, to all my friends, I promise I will try to socialize more again after (as long as it’s before 8pm)

This weekend felt like it was the culmination of over 2.5 years of work.

I’ve been working on The Mo’ Jam Doc since December of 2022. Working on a creative project for that long is a MARATHON (and it’s still not done!). My relationship to this film has transformed over time, but I knew that it would and SHOULD evolve with me. Not once have I questioned the importance of the story I’m trying my best to tell. I think this certainty is a result of following my intuition, despite any fear I’ve experienced along the way.

I can see the ways that this project and this community have changed me. Instilled confidence into me. Believed in my vision. Taught me what I’m capable of. My heart is so full of gratitude for my team—Quinn, Luke, Barb, Hailey, Vince—and for everyone who has so generously shared themselves in front of my camera. Special shout-out to Mo’ and Davy, who are the whole reason this project exists.

Please don’t forget to support your local artists. Go see some live music. It will make your world a brighter place— I promise!

Some dreamy bts shots from the dreamy @diningdeadmusic music video shoot with @bioluminescent_films 🎥✨ such a fun and beautiful day with some of my favorite people!!

Worked the lighting department and was hoping to capture the incredibly sick lighting we set up for this shoot but sometimes you forget you have b&w film in your camera 😂

A blessing in disguise though because I absolutely love how these turned out 🖤🎞️🤍
(So sorry I couldn’t fit everyone in the last shot, some crew not pictured!)
