Wunderhorse - Midas - Communion Records - CD - Nowplaying - Rock- #jacobslater - vocals, guitar #harryfowler - guitar #sebbyford - bass and #jamiestaples on drums ☆ There are guitar records that sound familiar to the ears immediately upon first listen and make no secret of the admiration for big bands from the past, but that also add something to everything that is already there and somehow sounds contemporary. Midas by Wunderhorse is one such album. The British band takes you directly back to the 90s with the first notes, but the ten songs on Midas are also very appealing in the here and now. Midas contains a series of great songs, which are beautifully performed, with excellent vocals of Jacob Slater. Paul McCartney Bluebird Cover Live at Miami, FL (Feb. 21st, 2020).

“Bluebird” has always been one of those hidden gems that hits differently… so I had to give it my own take 🎶

This is my cover of Bluebird by Paul McCartney — hope you feel the vibe as much as I did recording it.

If you’re into Wings era songs, this one’s for you 🕊️

Let me know what you think 👇
Save it if you enjoyed it & share it with another McCartney fan!

I have not got the words or the presentation like @vinylroel and @albums_and_heels but they did inspire me to spin Christopher Cross.

Beatles And I Love Her Cover Live at Miami, FL (Oct. 27th, 2018).

One of the most timeless love songs ever written. ❤️
Here’s my take on “And I Love Her” — a Beatles classic that never gets old.
Acoustic, simple, and straight from the heart. 🎸💫
What’s your favorite Beatles song?

Gene Clark is a founding member of the Byrds.

No Other is a hidden treasure from 1974.

Thanks @vinylroel for reminding me. The album was somewhere hidden on my shelves.

The Vinyl Community consists of many clever and supremely knowledgeable people and I would like to acknowledge their prowess, recognition skills and most importantly - everybody who has had any form of interaction and enjoyment from my ongoing Vinyl Quiz and identifying record covers. The fact that I have already posted 520 times and have only managed to stump the VC a total of 35 times certainly attests to your bright brains.

As long as there is participation and good fun is had I will continue sending them your way. I would like to acknowledge some players who have consistently participated and won many times. To those not tagged here, keep on trying. This is definitely not a competition with any reward other than a virtual trophy, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t see your name here, rather use it as a springboard to getting to hear some interesting and diverse music you may have not heard before. The beauty of music is that there is so much out there that you don’t know that may just resonate with you completely and become strong and indispensable personal favourites!
