Finding love starts with becoming more aligned with yourself — not searching harder for “the one.”

Polarity looks good on socials and sells a fantasy, so it gets a lot of attention, but the truth is it’s the EASY part

Resentment doesn't always explode. It sometimes simmers + seethes.

I'd gotten really good at repressing it and calling it peace for almost my entire life and marriage.

Here's the thing - you can hide resentment from your body. You cannot hide it from your husband. Men read energy, and they feel it every time we're simmering, even when we swear we're "fine."

Resentment is the number one killer of intimacy. Not conflict. Not distance.

The truth we swallow and smile through.

Drop “VIOLET” below and I'll send you the episode where violetlange and I unpack how to actually find and release it, before it erodes away the intimacy you were designed to enjoy 🖤

"You don't need your partner to do anything to do this healing work."

violetlange on why the healing starts with you, not a magic fix, but the one shift that can move the whole relationship.

Six months of deep inner work later, you feel more in your body. More connected. And clearer too, clear enough to see what your partner brings that genuinely isn't working (gaslighting, entitlement, not listening).

That clarity is exactly what makes couples work land differently.

Because when your nervous system is stuck in fight, flight, freeze or fawn, working on you first isn't giving up on the relationship. It's the most powerful thing you can do for it.

Trigger warning: s*xual abuse

Intimacy starts way before the bedroom. And blocks have wired way before your current partner.

Today's guest, Sexual Health Expert and founder of Love Harmonics, violetlange, knows this in her body, not just her training.

As a survivor of s*xual abuse and particularly incest, she did the deep somatic work to heal that part of her own story, and to reclaim pleasure and connection with her partner. Now she helps others find that same safety in their own bodies.

It's not about forcing yourself to feel "sexually open" on command. It's about asking:

❤️ How do I feel in my body today?
🍦 Can I let pleasure be mine too?
🌹 What changes when I stop waiting for the "perfect" moment?

That shift takes pressure off your partner and puts care back where it belongs, with you.

And when healing comes up, it can move faster because your body finally feels safe enough to tell the truth.

Pleasure is not extra. It's part of being alive.

What would change if you treated that like a truth, not a reward?

You don't have to fight for love. You have to become the match for it.

This week I sat down with Violet Lange, and within minutes she was telling me about being sexually abused by her father, and raped by him as a teenager. No easing in. Just the truth.

What got me most wasn't the trauma itself, it was what she said about healing from it. The hardest part was never remembering. It was believing herself once she did.

She also shared the wildest love story I've heard on this podcast. A dream. A stranger's hand on her heart. Three weeks later, he was real.

If you've ever felt like you keep attracting the same kind of person, or you're tired of being told love is just a lottery, this one's for you.

Ep 210 is live. Swipe through and then go listen. 🎙️

If you keep meeting people, dating for three weeks to three months and then it always fizzles out, listen to this one.

Violet calls it your "dating catnip," the type you're always drawn to.

She had me look at what I'm actually longing for versus what I'm attracted to and how those two things are often completely different. It's not that you're doing something wrong. It's an old pattern from childhood asking to finally be rewired.

I don't usually lead with the woo woo stuff but this one genuinely gave me chills.

Violet was casually dating someone who was fine on paper but her heart kept going "crunchy" around him.
Then a man shows up in a dream, puts his hand on her heart and says "Joe's a 10, and you're a 100, what are you doing with this guy."

Three weeks later she meets him in real life.

Turns out the same night she had that dream, he was in a ceremony asking to be met by someone with depth. You cannot make this stuff up.

I love Mystery, one of the pioneers of modern cold approach. 🎩🔥

He had a real impact on my confidence, but what meant even more was how he treated me personally. During a period when I was unwell, he was kind enough to reach out to me even though he didn’t know me. 🙏❤️

That’s why he’ll always have a special place in my heart. 💯

I asked relationship coach Violet Lange for her honest perspective on the coaches who adopted methods influenced by Mystery and that style of dating coaching in general. 🎙️🧠💬
