Today’s Trail Tuesday is dedicated to the wonderful crews at The Wreath Factory and Otter Creek Landscaping!
From garden design and planting to answering my endless questions, they’ve brought so much knowledge, hard work, and heart to Riverside Eco-Gardens. And they’ve even helped with the unexpected adventures, including raccoon rescues.
Projects like this take a community, and I’m grateful for the people who show up, share what they know, and care about what we’re growing together.
Here’s to good people, growing gardens, and a whole lot of teamwork. 🌿

🌊🤙 I got a lot of messages this weekend asking about Sheboygan being called the Malibu of the Midwest, so I thought it was the perfect time to share a little local surf history!

Believe it or not, Sheboygan has been building its freshwater surf scene since the 1960s! With Lake Michigan’s wide-open waters, the right wind conditions, and our unique shoreline, we get some incredible waves right here in Wisconsin. And when fall storms roll in, things can get especially good!

From local surf pioneers to generations of surfers braving those chilly waters, Sheboygan has built a pretty incredible surf culture right here on the Great Lakes. 🌊

So the next time someone asks how you can surf in Wisconsin, send them our way! 😉
