POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

In the 1960s, the proposed Dos Rios Dam would have flooded Covelo, surrounding farmland, and Round Valley Indian Reservation lands.

Local residents and tribal members fought the plan. In 1969, Governor Ronald Reagan called for alternatives that would spare the valley, expressing concern for its natural beauty and Native community.

A very different future nearly unfolded in this corner of Mendocino County. #RoundValley #Covelo #DosRiosDam #CaliforniaHistory #DiscoverInlandMendocino

One redwood. Nearly 90 years of road-trip memories. And the same family behind it all. 🌲🚗

In 1937, Charlie and Hazel Underwood, with the help of woodsmen, created the tunnel through Leggett’s Chandelier Tree. Today, the park is still owned and operated by their descendants—a family legacy generations of travelers have driven right through. #drivethrutree #Leggett #willitsca #discoverinlandmendocino

Research says being with a donkey can help teenager’s moods. We know this feeling. Donkeys help adults too.

Become a Campovida Steward, it is good for your mood and sense of belonging.

Thank you @ktvu2 for sharing the benefits of a donkey.

AC&R Service joined in on the 2026 Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off, and our pumpkin tipped the scales at 307 lbs! 💪🎃

Not quite the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown… but we think he’d be proud! 😂🍂
